Folks. Get in touch with NvC and find out as to when the approved petition was received by nvc. If you know the date then you may track it on the following url. They update this date every Monday. It is very accurate.

Thank you  I would advice you to take action ASAP. If you can't go to your congressman today, don't wait. Place an inquiry over the phone yourself. The inquiry will ping your case in their system and draw attention. Good luck and keep me posted!

BIG CONGRATULATIONS to you on your approval, this process is not easy at all, endurance is the KEY. My PD is June 2, 2017 and I look forward to do the same thing(contact my congressman) as I am still waiting for USCIS approval whereas the processing time as per the website says, they are processing files for PD..June 09, 2017 .

Yes it's possible. When your PD becomes current, the US Consulate abroad works hand in hand with the NVC to get a date for your interview,  the sooner you get an interview date now depends on the embassy' workload not NVC anymore.
NVC only email you with a date as soon as the embassy updates them when there is space for you.

There's no adjusting status for a CR-1 visa holder. Adjusting status is for a non-permanent resident to get a green card.

In 2 years from entry, you will need to complete Removal of Conditions (ROC). You can file for that starting 90 days before the 2 year mark.

Assuming you paid the immigrant fee already, your physical green card will arrive in the mail in the coming weeks.

True the approximate wait time for spousal Visa for wife/husband to a LPR is 2 years plus. My docs is with the California Service center which is way too overloaded as per the tracking on the Processing Time. My fingers remain crossed as days goes by cos I miss my wife so baddd

You mentioned your wife is an LPR, I believe the approximate wait time for a spousal visa for the spouse of an LPR is two plus years.

    Good Luck!
