Hello fam, my wife is a green card holder and applied for me last year (May 2017) and we got an NOA1 just a week after she filed. It's been over 14 months now and no NOA2 yet. I was wondering if we have anybody in the house with same situation or who has been approved as per my same date of filing. Thank you!

You mentioned your wife is an LPR, I believe the approximate wait time for a spousal visa for the spouse of an LPR is two plus years.

True the approximate wait time for spousal Visa for wife/husband to a LPR is 2 years plus. My docs is with the California Service center which is way too overloaded as per the tracking on the Processing Time. My fingers remain crossed as days goes by cos I miss my wife so baddd

Yes US citizens are given priority unlike LPR who will have to wait forever...Moreover my file is with California service center which is too overloaded so per tracking. Thanks for the reply. Best wishes...& Happy ever after.

Your case is within normal processing times according to USCIS. All you can do is wait.

Even if the I-130 were approved today, your case would not go any faster since your PD must be current to proceed through NVC anyway.

Timelines:

ROC:

7/27/20: Sent forms to Dallas lockbox, 7/30/20: Received by USCIS, 8/10 NOA1 electronic notification received, 8/1/ NOA1 hard copy received

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

Just FYI, mine with PD Feb 01, 2017 got approved on Aug 20, pretty recently. If and only if they continue to process with this speed (2~2.5 months per month category), it will take at least 6-8ish months for your case to hear anything from them.  This is just a fairly rough estimate and your approval could be sooner or later depending on their pace.
