    Hello everyone.

I don't remember if I've posted this before but it had been a while since I had been on here. With a weak signal on my phone, I'm unable to search the answer I was seeking, so I figured I'd ask the question again.

We r in Morocco on an unexpected vacation and we are getting on a final flight out of Morocco to London this week.

My question is since my husband is a green card holder, would he need a visa to stay overnight in London?

My husband doesn't want me to sleep overnight at the airport, due to me being pregnant and our baby girl. That's why I wonder if it's a requirement for him to get a visa to sleep at a hotel in London...

    Thank you in advance!

am stuck in the same situation myself i am a green card holder  that came for a visit to dubai i wanted to travel but i don't know if we can go through border control without a visa  please share if you get any news from the embassy

Oops! I apologize for my mistake. I am not sure about your situation. I would definitely call the US Embassy. If you explain your situation and show the correct documents, I am sure they will be able to help get you home. I did not need any additional authorization. They checked my United States passport and that was it.

hi i just would like to reassure you just mentioned that you travelled without no issue  am actually a green card holder and came for a visit to dubai  the embassy told me that i can travel to usa through  uk and what am worried  my question is do i need a visa to travel from uk  or my green card is enough to show them

Hello, I read almost every single page of this forum from part one. I am naturalized US Citizen and got married to a Moroccan girl but I am not from Morocco.  She went to her CR-1 Visa interview on February 1, 2018 to US Embassy in Casablanca.  Right after her interview she was given DS-5535 and requested her to send it back to the embassy.  We filled out the form and sent it back to the Embassy on the same day. We had few updates.  I used to send emails to the Embassy every other month.

Early first week of July 2019 I received an email from Casablanca US Embassy saying that her review is complete and will notify you next steps.  Two days later we received another email asking her to come to the Embassy on July 31, 2019 again to retake the oath and bring new medical, police report, court report, and 2018 tax returns.   She submitted all the requested documents and she was given a letter saying that your visa is approved.  They kept her passport and ask her to pick up the passport within two weeks from Aramex.  I checked the status of her case on CEAC and shows as Issued.  18 months it was Administrative Processing.

I know it is very difficult for everyone keeping family apart.  For us too, it was very difficult since we have a two year old child.  Please try to be patient and have faith in Allah and InshaAllah everyone will get visa at the end and this nightmare will over InshaAllah.

this is such a good news a relief and a big hope

Hi, have you sent them (Embassy) an Email? usually when they look at your email, they update the date on the case.

On the other hand I have heard from AbuDhabi that they have contacted number of Iranian people for their passport for Visa. Spouse Visa. it is a year and half for those people that they had been on AP.  Anyone else heard anything?

thats good news i hope we get the visas  too  i had my interview in abudhabi embassy

I dont think the waiting lines are different for IR1 vs K1. They seem to be different for B1s, since I have seen a few B1s from travel ban countries being issued within a couple months, but they could have been exceptions. One of the wierdest B1 I had seen was for a Iranian guy who was attending a competition for space related rocket designs. You would think that would be a big red flag, but here we are.

    In regards to the case,

I was wondering why they want the report released before discovery. I wonder if they triggered a temporary surge for yemenis just to get those numbers high.

Are there people here waiting 1+ year? I saw another Syrian national get hers after 1 year and 2 months in AP. Are there people here who interviewed between Jan and April of 2018?

mines was april 2018 somalian passport holder
