Congrats.
Does the card have any biometrics on it? If so, seems like they reused either the ones from the visa application or POE (more likely the latter).
The card is in production. I have not received it yet. When I do, I can answer this question (if I can tell whether it has biometrics on it?)

The EAD card itself has biometrics information built into it. As such, no biometrics obtained = impossible to issue the card.
Hi all!
Despite popular belief that this was impossible, my combo card is now being produced! Last time I did biometrics was in the Brazilian consulate, and then at the port of entry.
SO excited!! <3 <3 <3

Hi Sam-Sam, I did not submit an affidavit of support, but my case is AOS and I am already employed. I don't know if that changes things.
Has your I-140 already been approved? how long did it take? I filed concurrently in late February at Nebraska Service Center. No movement on my case yet
-
I can't really help you, but I also applied for an niw. Nebraska service center. Hope long did it take for them to process you I140? Did you get an rfe? Thank you

Thank you

Hi,
Will all selectees be able to see they've been selected, or does one have to keep on checking? How long should one be checking and how long are unclaimed numbers available for?
Thank you -

Hi @nnamdi, did you do your original biometrics at a consulate or in the us? If you did them in the us you're good. I did mine at a consulate but intend to try the same thing as you as soon as I have a job offer. Fingers crossed
-
Some eb's have also been waived. I don't know if or why NYC would be different from other offices
-
The majority of i765 were approved and the are subsequent to I140 cases filed in Nebraska, like mine. Oh well, biometrics in June, hopefully!
-
I am also on an O1, have a usc partner, and filed NIW. Did not do marriage. If you want to do marriage, and your employer would be paying for eb1, did you consider doing both? I would file for the green card now and use advance parole for travelling. Travelling on the O while the green card is processing is tricky because the O is not clearly dual intent and you could potentially have trouble getting back in the country. You would most likely be fine, but my lawyer advised against taking the risk and I agreed that it made sense not to take it. Currently waiting to do biometrics for ap/ead, should have those shortly after application centers reopen🤞🤞🤞. Not too bad a wait. Main thing is to file asap, in my opinion
-
You are right. I am looking at a feature that allows me to see the status of case numbers immediately following mine. Most EADs and about half of all APs immediately following my case numbers have been approved. No new movement since 04/15, though. Maybe the ones that still say "case received" dont have biometrics on file, just like mine😞

The next opening date is June 4 😞

You must be right. This must be a mistake on the uscis website 😉
-
I would imagine that you can. Personally, I would consult a specialized lawyer or someone with extensive experience

Did they say why they denied it?

Last time i checked they got my RFE on 20th, and nothing no more update yet. People in office are working on cases that is for sure.
But no rescheduling for biometric appointment......thanks for your update. i received an update from chen's immigration office and there is evidence on this website that they are indeed adjudicating all sorts of petitions. hopefully there will be a bulletin asap!
-
Yeah, will think about it. According to the uscis app, most people filing around the same time as me received ead in early April, presumably because biometrics were either on file or done in time. My biometrics letter arrived a few days after the centers closed.

My reading is DV 2021 is NOT cancelled, though DV green cards are temporarily suspended for those outside the US.
Those on visas inside the US are not impacted by this executive order.
Does anyone have a different reading? -
@dashinka thanks, that's my thinking too. Pregnant and no car, but still worth the try probably
@payxibka I need biometrics for processing of ap/ead -
Never mind. There is a thread about this. Dont know how to delete this post

Does anyone have a link to the EO they can share? Thank you
-
Any thoughts on why this is so delayed? You think they were already expecting the EO announcement? Is this frustrating to anyone else but me?
