  1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the table B date looks to be later than their PD, so they could file I-485, assuming their E visa keeps them in status until adjustment of status is approved.
  2. I'm pretty sure this post is about AOS, not naturalization
  3. 28 months here. Only 3 more months before I can send an inquiry, unless they change the average processing time again
  4. Did you apply for citizenship or just ROC? I'm SRC January 2022. Glad to see them slowly moving my way
  5. Slightly unrelated, but a BSN is a bachelor's degree. It's a bachelor of science in nursing
  6. Are you filing I-131 for AP or as a reentry permit? Because if it's the first one, you need to wait until it is approved to travel.
  7. This isn't super important right now, but you weren't denied, your filing was rejected. This is important if the question "have you ever been denied..." comes up. USCIS is a stickler for terminology.
  8. I am a permanent resident and I still get the pop-ups and email reminders about applying for ESTA. I think the website just automatically emails people based on just their citizenship.
  9. I think consular processing is what OP meant with filing I-130 and then affidavit of support when the time comes.
  10. Call uscis and say Infopass. Explain the situation and you should get an appointment
  11. From what I understand, combo cards aren't really issued anymore. Are you sure you're getting your information from recent posts?
  12. Because that would be immigration fraud. You cannot enter with a non immigrant visa with the intent to adjust status.
  13. She does not have a visa. She is a permanent resident. Two different things. If she says she has a visa at the airport, it's just going to lead to confusion.
  14. Just be aware that entering on a non- immigrant visa (such as F1) with the plan to adjust status is fraud.
  15. Can confirm as someone who is currently on their second I-751, their second ADIT stamp, and just recently successfully traveled abroad (although that is nowhere near mindthegap's record)
  16. Just be aware that they means you won't be able to file until 2025. I would suggest meeting sooner after the wedding if at all possible. That way you can get the ball rolling.
  17. I had the same issue on mobile. Thanks for the tip. I was worried I got banned for some reason
  18. -travel to the US -get married within 90 days -file I-485, I-131, I-765, and I-864 -ideally do all of this before April 1, as that's when fees increase and AP and EAD will no longer be free to file with AOS
  19. Original expired December 2020. I got the 24 month extension letter when I refiled my ROC so I had to get the stamp in December 2022. I got the 48 month letter sometime in 2023 but at that point my greencard had already gotten clipped at the stamp appointment which makes it unusable.
  20. Happy (?) 2 years for those of us still waiting. Felt appropriate Unrelated, I'm still stuck on "case received" and am about to get my second ADIT stamp
  21. 2 years, still waiting. Although my first petition was from November 2020, so arguably 3 1/4 years
  22. It's all about intent. If someone comes to the U.S. on a visit visa intending to adjust status then it is fraud, no matter how long they wait after arriving. If someone is visiting and while they are visiting their circumstances change, and they decide to adjust, then it is not fraud. Since your mother is not currently in the country, and you are already asking about adjusting, she would fall in the first category.
  23. You wrote "48 years" 😄
  24. I know that was a typo, but it does feel like it sometimes
  25. If you already have the 48 month extension letter, then no, they won't send another one. Call USCIS to get an ADIT stamp that lasts for a year. They might send it to you or they might have you come into their office for one.
