  1. I just found out we were approved on Dec 3.  I am in Ukraine now spending the holidays with my fiance.  My sister checked the mail yesterday and saw the letter from Homeland Security.

The online case status did not update - I have been checking every other day for the past two weeks.

Hopefully the case will clear NVC within four weeks so I can be here to help her with the application process on her end.

Read this information and gather what she will need for the interview to bring with you.

    Hi Greenbaum,

Thank you for your reply.   It seems things from Packet 3 that I need to prepare is to be given directly to the beneficiary for her interview.  I will have them done and take them with me when I head over next month.

When the NOA2 is issued, is there is anything I have to do from here, in the US?  Is the forwarding of the case to NVC automatic?  And is it also automatic when the NVC sends the I-126F package to the embassy?

  3. I'm am not sure if it belong here or in another thread, but...

I am a June filer, and as with most, hope that I'll receive the NOA 2 in Nov/Dec instead of the current website prediction of Jan.  My concern is that I will not be at home - I am travelling to Ukraine to spend 2 months with her.

Do I need to do anything from home, or is the process automatic and I just get notifications of the case file being sent to NVC and then onto the embassy?  I will fill out the I-134 and get the W2's, tax returns and employer letter ready, but I think that is to be given to my fiance for her to present to the embassy, along with the paperwork/medical she needs to handle?

  4. Hello All,

I recently found this sight and wished I knew about it before I filed.  I think my package is complete but definitely not to the extent some of you have prepared.  To Doyle1292, congrats on your speedy appoval!

I received my NOA1 on 06/27.  Timeline forecasts Jan 2019 for me.  The long wait begins/continues.  Good luck everyone.
