i got the documents back in one week, you guys need to talk first with the office to see if they accept it

I did this recently, was nervous about getting my Certificate of Naturalization back in a timely manner. I submitted to local office by mail and within a week they Fedex'd my Certificate back to me with confirmation it was updated. The actual new card to arrive separately.

hello! today i got the passport. Didnt apply for the card.
 
Still no certificate, i would assume it goes with regular mail so next week will be with me.

I just got the email!!! I cant believe it, i checked today in the morning and didnt get anything. Passport was shipped! Like others, it is 4 months.

i had my appointment on March 13. It is taking forever.... Mine is from Florida too but it is a child, let's see how long it takes

I wanted to post this here in case someone might be looking for info regarding the N-600 process. Keep in mind that each case is different as well as it depends of your local office processing times.
My daughter N-600 application: Minor child (13),permanent resident, living with me, the U.S. citizen parent.
Items included in the Package :

Check for the amount of $600.00 · Form G-1145 E-notification of Application Acceptance. · Completed,signed and dated Form N-600. · Two identical color photographs of the minor child applicant. · Copy of the Certificate of Naturalization of the mother of the minor childapplicant. · Copy of both sides of the Green card of the minor child applicant. · Copy of Birth Certificate of the minor child applicant. · Copy of divorce decree of the parents of the minor child applicant. (Proof of legalcustody) · Copy of the Mother's driver license and copy of the minor child applicant's StateID.
Our local office:Chicago.
Sent N-600application: February 4, 2012.
Received the NOAreceipt: February 10, 2012
After I received the NOA I didn't hear from USCIS for about 3 months. Then in May 5th 2012, I received this letter:

On May 30, I then went to USCIS in behalf of my daughter to pick up her Certificate. Just had to sing some paperwork and review carefully the certificate to make sure everything was correct stated. The whole process for the Certificate was smooth and fast (about 4 months), at least here in Chicago.
Note: On the day of my oath I was told that applicants for N-600 14 years old and older Must appear in person to attend a short interview and take the oath before receiving their Certificates.
Hoping this info might help a little.

I just get my us citizenship one quick question about the children. Can i request my son's passport (through my US citizenship) and my first passport at the same appointment OR I need to do it separately? Not sure if both requests that need the citizenship certificate can be done in parallel.

I was recently naturalized. At the ceremony the USCIS people took my green card and those of my children as they are now citizens. The problem is how do i get a passport for them? I only have their foreign birth certificates and passports. I have my US citizen certificate but they have no proof of citizenship. I know that I can file a N-600 but that is $1000 per child and that seems expensive, are they going to send certificates for my children? The kids are 13 and 17. Thank you for your help!
