My status says it ready for the interview.. do I schedule it myself or wait for the Santo Domingo embassy to send me appointment date?? Please advice...

Your will have to schedule the appointment yourself at

    http://www.ustraveldocs.com/

you will have to make an account, using the beneficiary information you will schedule 2 appointment one for fingerprinting and the second one for the interview.

Normally or should I say a lot of people have moved from in Transit to ready in 2 days. Now, not sure when letter shows up but I'm going to guess with a week. It may even just be a email. Which u will need to print and take copies to medical and interview.

letter isn’t needed in the Dominican Republic for medical with a print out of the visa case status stating that it’s ready would be accepted for medical exam.

I assume it can take a few days but for what I have read as soon as your case says ready you can print the page and bring it with you for the medical exam. I read that at Servicios Medicos Consulates they accept the print out. I’m not quite sure about Consultorio de visa.

Hello, go to Servicios Medicos much faster and easier Consultorio de Visa gives a very hard time, and I believe they don’t know what they are doing because they ask for the wrong paperwork... my fiancé went with the print out of the page just saying “at NVC”. We took the chance in hope everything turns out fine (which it has). But it is very nerve wracking...

Hi everyone. Another silent lurker here. I'm just waiting very patiently and stalking all of you. Silently praying that all of u before me gets approved quickly so my fiance and I can get approved too! NOA1 on March 29. Anyways, I was just scrolling through everyone's conversations on here and I found the link to what to do after the approval and I saw something that freaked me out! I'm the petitioner and I was born in the Philippines. When I was a baby my dad processed the papers to make me a US citizen. So I have both passports. So what freaked me out was the whole cenomar thing? Do you guys know if this is really needed for me? I wouldn't even know how to get one since I'm in California and my job won't let me take another trip back to the Philippines (went in May to visit him).  I've lived in the Philippines off and on since I was in High school and college. I just came back to Cali in 2017 so I could start saving for my future babies! Lol. I'm really worried about this.  Sorry for the long rant! I hope I'm completely just understanding it wrong! 😭
