there should not ba a problem since your GC is not expired yet. i travelled outside US last august and my GC expired Oct 2019. i didn't encounter any problem back then, they just told me to send my papers immediately when i arrived back here.

yes, you go in together😊. for our interview, they just asked original copies of our birth certificates, passports, and marriage cert. for verification. i gave them also proof of relationship like health/renters insurance, utility bill, 401k beneficiary, apartment lease. they said i came for the interview over prepared. which is a good thing i guess.. i brought pictures too but they didnt bother seeing it. the interviewer go over my application for adjustment. verfying all the info's are correct. and then she asked me few questions from the yes/no questions at the end of the application. Affidavit of Support is in good shape. they didnt bother to ask any additional document. and i did another medical exam prior to interview bec. my medical for fiance visa exceeded 1 yr already. but they said my previous medical is still good. 

you have to bring your spouse on the interview. its a requirement. but most of the questions will be for the applicant. they may ask the spouse few questions.

my I-485 was ready to be scheduled since may 13, 2018. then after more than 3months, i got notificatication that it was scheduled for interview on august 26, 2018. i got my interview letter on the mail last september 5, 2018 and my interview was scheduled oct. 2, 2018.

i did another medical exam here with a civil surgeon bec. my medical exam in my home country was aug. 10, 2017, it passed 1 year to the validity of it. my interview will be oct. 02, next week. the I-693 was the 2nd thing in my checklist(the interview letter) on what to bring for the interview, so i did another medical.

thanks for the reply.. my friend got a 10yr. GC. she was married 1 yr. 1 month when they had their interview. but they have a baby already when they had their interview. so maybe it depends on cases also.

to those who recieved their GC already, did you get a 2yr. conditional or a 10 yr. GC? thanks!

recieved text and mail notification today that my AOS is scheduled for interview😊 early birthday gift for me, yehey! hope my interview will go smoothly. and i have to wait for the interview letter in the mail😊.  was ready to be scheduled since may 14.

i got it in the mail today! and it comes with the usps priority mail envelope with tracking number. but they uscis didnt send the tracking number to me. might be a slight delay with your card. you should be getting it on monday hopefully. 

received notification few hrs ago. that my card was being mailed to me. maybe it will arrived in 2days. hopefully.

finally, i got email & text notification that i have a new update and i checked it on egov.uscis.gov and it says my EAD card is being produced. i checked it also on my.uscis.gov and nothing changed. its still 'we reviewed your biometrics and still provessing your case'. well, i am hoping i will get my card in the next few days. i can finally have a card that has my new last name.. hope others will be approved soon.. hang in there.
