I need help to understand my case status on ceac,I was ask to submit updated tax transcript and i864 both petioner and sponsor which I did on 14/11/23 after two week I had update on 27/11/23 and today I check my status change to AP no more refuse with date change to 29/11/23.i need to understand members 

@pushbrkHello so I just check my status and found out that my status have been updated twice 27 and today 29 and it has change from refuse to AP any advice what it means pls 

@pushbrkI did send the letter explained and the divorce proceedings the first time they ask about the x wife to sign i864a so this time since my sponsor file tax as head of household excluding the ex wife I did not send the letter again hope they already has it my thought and it's been a week no movement on my case

I can't really follow what you are saying.  This is almost 11 months later, so I think you provided a new affidavit, with non-joint filed 2022 tax return and a statement the joint sponsor is now divorced or in divorce proceedings.  That should work fine if the sponsor is qualified.

@pushbrkSo I did exactly your advice dear friend by sending everything they requested and add the divorce proceedings and a letter from the sponsor that his ex wife can't sign because they are divorce and not in good terms more over the income is base on him but they came back now again this time updated tax transcript from sponsor and petioner and updated i864 and and if joint sponsor file taxes jointly sign i864a but this time my sponsor file his 22tax head of household excluding the ex this time on the tax transcript any advice have sent them am I go to be lucky to be issue?Any advice pls

I need a advice,my sponsor fill taxes with his wife jointly and now they are going through divorce proceedings in court and both of them are not in good terms also the income is based on my sponsor though he fill taxes jointly with the wife.now the embassy had requested my sponsor and the wife should sign i864A and now they are not in good terms.I need advice what should I do ?should I submit evidence about their divorce court proceedings and now they live

Am in same situation my joint sponsor fill taxes with his wife jointly and also the wife has been unemployed for the past five years and now the embassy requested my joint sponsor and the wife should fill i864a.also I want to know if only the form or have to attach supporting documents from the wife or she only need to fill the contract i864

So long story short I was ask to dropbox supporting documents together with my passport after I overcome public charge.today i check ceac site date have been updated 5times and the last date was 28th june but when i check dhl dropbox site fits it says passport with embassy/consulate and today I check it say documents delivery information.anyone with similar situation

U don't need to file another petition all you have to do is get a new joint sponsor with all his documents and just send it to the dhl .contact me if u need any help

U should b okay,moreover did they ask you to send your passport together with the documents in your 221g letter?

So long and short have been back and forth with the embassy after my first interview on 26th July 2018 and have been on AP since with several dropbox to dhl and on the 10th November 2021 I had email from the embassy with another dropbox but this time passport requested and redo my medicals and update my ds260 IRS tax transcript.Additional proof of relationship between the petitioner and beneficiary (examples include photographs,communication records, or tax,bank or insurance documents that show the petitioner's and beneficiary's names together) and from all my dropbox they never ask passport.so I waited for 2021 tax stuffs which I drop them off on 14th june 2022

So far I had 3 updates from 13th june which I believe date they received my medicals and 16th june which they receive my dropbox documents and last so far 17th june.i want to ask is it positive sign to get my visa.i need help from anyone who had similar issues 

Yes was ask to submit tax or insurance or bank documents showing both our names on it

I was denied under public charge after the embassy ask us to submit tax,bank,or Insurance documents showing both me and my wife names on it.which we could not rather sent western union receipt as bank document and later was refuse.we submitted new joint sponsor and private insurance for me and on 22 February check my status online it change from refuse to Administration Processing want to ask if that means have been able to overcome the public charge friends.

@givionteThis is the message I received from the embassy.This office regrets to inform you that your visa application has been refused under Section 212(a)(4) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.  INA 212(a)(4) provides that an applicant who is likely to become a public charge is inadmissible.  Immigrant visa and nonimmigrant visa applicants are subject to the public charge ineligibility.

An applicant is likely to become a public charge if he or she is likely, at any time after admission, to become primarily dependent on the U.S. Government (Federal, state, or local) for subsistence.  This means:

(a)   Receipt of public cash assistance for income maintenance or
(b)  Institutionalization for long-term care at U.S. Government expense

When considering the likelihood of an applicant becoming a public charge, the officer took into account the totality of your circumstances at the time of visa application, including your age, health, family status, assets, resources, financial status, education, and skills.

No waiver is available for immigrants ineligible under INA 212(a)(4). However, you may be able to overcome this refusal if you are able to present new and convincing evidence that this inadmissibility no longer applies.

@NatalieAyerswell they refuse me under public charge cos m wife is getting government assistance but we working hard to overcome it 

My wife household is 4 including me but my stepdaughter is 21 years so now we the household will b 3.plus I have got a sponsor who has no government assistance and 0 dependant and willing to help.so I want to ask what Documents will I need from him?@dwheels76

Thank you very much my wife is getting letter from her job also I have gotten another person who is making way better 100000$ and willing to sponsor us also my wife had put me on a private health insurance so I will send all those documents thanks for your help.@givionte
