Hello members I130 for wife of USC and still in administrative processing (no additional documents needed) 60 days after phone interview after wife's 221g appointment. They asked us questions for about 15-20 minutes. This was after we submitted the family tree documents they requested. Has anyone have any success story or any good news that they were successfully issued and received their visa after AP. If so how long did it take? I need to hear some good news right now. 😄

I agree with that. But I don't know their case load. They also stated that the longer the AP process the more likely a negative outcome. I don't know if that is true.

I don't quite follow what you mean. Satire or not. It is a legit question. I watched their videos and they said these things. Do you think they are trying to deceive ppl?

Interesting. There is a group of ex Officers that say the opposite of this. Anyone familiar with this Argo Visa group? They dont say to harrass the embassy but to keep in contact the right way. And they also say these "checks" are BS and that it is on hold until someone can make the decision?

I have been emailing them about every 10-14 days. Anyone familiar with Argo Visa? They are ex COs they claim. They said in a couple videos letting sit is not the best idea either. I dunno I think they are right. These ppl get busy and things get buried. Have had a few date changes but nothing the last 2 weeks.

Still waiting. 8/5 will be 60 days since 221g appointment. The DOS says that 80% are finished at 60 days? Or is this more gas lighting by them?

Hello. Me and my wife are currently in AP. We did the 221g appointment and they asked us to fill out a family tree form. Is this the same as a DS5535? Country is Vietnam

Yes I understand. Nothing personal. Just something that had crossed my mind being a US consulate.

Also the odd thing to me was they had a vietnamese speaking English officer call me. I would think they would have the American officer call. I understood her mostly but some things were not clear the first time I heard her. I had to ask her to repeat.

No they did not say. Just asked the most common questions. Nothing jumped out as odd. I was really surprised they did basically a stokes by phone. They called her first. From my research this is not good. Hoping for the best but bracing for anything. We are a real couple. Not fake and this process is very taxing.

There are people I have read that traveled with 2 passports one new one and one that matches the DS260. I am hoping for the best.

Thanks Man. i hope you are right and I already told her that she will most likely need to enter with 2 passports. A new one and the DS260 one.

This waiting is really nerve racking. Is it a really bad sign that they did not keep her passport at the 221g appointment? They collected family tree papers and ex spouse information. Thats it.

I believe it is true. Oct 22 my wifes 1rst interview she was not asked much of anything. Was literally under 5 mins. Bam 221g. I think they are previewed and categorized. -

On the form it says pivot case and it says additional administrative processing. They did not ask for any additional documents

Hello everyone. She received another blue slip. It says Pivot Case. It says no additional information needed. They told my wife they will call her? Never heard of this

Hi yes she did another one on May 19th. Now the question of the passport expiry in September. In Vietnam do they take your old passport when you renew it? I read here that she could copy all pages, take the copies to 221g appt while renewing passport. Doesn't the passport number need to match the DS260? And will they ask to update the DS260? Thank you

Hello I have a follow up question. Been in contact with the medical place and they confirmed the medical has expired. They said she can do the medical at any time but they can't send it to the embassy until they reopen the medical case in the eMedical system. She said the embassy has to do that. Do we have to contact the embassy? Does anyone know anything about this particular issue of having to redo a medical exam?
