Hey Guys just looked on the April Filers now and we have some movement in CSC.

Hopefully we the May filers will start seeing positive movement this week.

  This is just perfect as my GC along with my DL was set to expire by the end of this month.

This should be fine. I'm unsure if it applies to LPRs as well (vs having no limit), but in general you only need 14 days of legal status remaining.

I sent i751 through mail on April 9th( it's been received on April 11th) and I didn't hear on any way from USCIS for almost 2 months.  I called couple times and they just told me that they need up to 60days to process it and they didn't want to say anything else.  I was worried that my package was lost.  My check wasn't cashed out. So after 55 days I'm getting letter and 1 year extension of status and it says that really April 11th was date when they received package. Just wanted to share if someone is in the same situation so not to be worried like I was whole time.

Speaking as an HR person, I can assure you that an employer isn’t going to turn you down because you have an extension of one year. Your HR person would be knowledgeable to how an extension works and if not they would be working with their company’s Immigration attorney. At the time of hire, if your green card is valid that is all they need. If your green card is already expired, you can still take your expired GC along with your extension letter and it will work for the I-9 purposes. I referenced this in an earlier post to someone else. 

They're cashing checks in a range. So they don't do just one day a day. Right now anyone between the 16th and 20th is being cashed. Some are ahead of others, like a couple of 17ths that got cashed before 16ths and such.

Imo, it's best to give it a couple of days once you see someone near your date starting to cash.

Yeah, they received mine on 5/4, and the NOA has a date of 5/29, got returned to me in the mail today. 
So if I resend mine by Monday...I guess I'll be cutting it really close seeing that my GC expires 6/30. 

I think it means the I751 form you used had expired. 
 
Check the edition date on the bottom of your form, it should be 12/05/2017. 
 
If yours is older than 12/05/2017, you need to download it from uscis website, refill it and send it out again. 

Hello! Our check was cashed today. Our package was sent to CSC on 04/17/18 and was recieved 04/18/19.

Yes, from excel! and it only works when you use IE!

CSC filing timeline
 
4/9/2018: Sent our packet via FedEx overnight to CSC physical address.
4/10/2018: Packet signed for at CSC and FedEx tracking site updated to show packet delivered.
5/11/2018: Called CSC (32 days since packet received). Transferred to Tier 2 who told us to call back every week until we hit 60 days, then re-file. Advised that, due to H1 filings and a computer system upgrade, time to enter I-751 into system was increased from 30 days to 60 days.
5/21/2018: Called CSC (42 days since packet received) and spoke with Tier 1 who refused to transfer to Tier 2. Tier 1 told us to re-file because our packet was obviously lost.
5/22/2018: We decided to sit tight and wait it out another week.
5/24/2018: CHECK CASHED!!!!!!!!! 
 
Total time from date the packet was sent to CSC and date the check was cashed: 46 days.

Just called USCIS since it's been a month and a half and as I mentioned before I never checked my tracking number to nake sure my packet had been delivered. Well I was given a receipt number so I feel relieved! I mailed out my packet on April 10th. I was told I should get my NOA soon.

I saw April 9 people got their NOA's and check being cashed, I was worried and decided to call USCIS this morning.
 
Tier 1 agent told  me that they already sent the NOA yesterday and provided me with the receipt numbers. 
 
Yay  No words can express how happy I am today.

when did CSC receive your packet? I think getting an info-pass appointment for a stamp will be challenging if you don't have an NOA or receipt number. you may luck out and get a really nice agent that will go ahead and stamp it for you but most have been having difficulty getting a stamp without a receipt number.
Yes, the NOA can be shown for your new hire paperwork. just show your expired green card with the NOA so HR knows they match up and you do have the extension and the ROC is pending.

It's slowly moving. They cashed some more checks today for April filers at the CSC. 

Right - I found an example at uscis.gov/forms/paying-uscis-fees that reflects a combined check on the check example and in #5. Sounds like needing two checks is an outdated concern. 

The verbiage on the USCIS website is in plural, as it is aimed at all of their applicants. Hence they are referring to 'checks' from their applicants. This answers the question: you do not need, and certainly do not have to send 2 separate checks. If this is only about the cover sheet then no one NEEDS to sign it. Everyones cover sheet is different and not required by the I-751 instructions, it's basically just an index of your package and a short explanation of why you're sending it.

Vermont is about a 30 day turn around, CSC is the long wait. So you should have yours before June 30th.

From what I've read on here, you can continue to work because you have filed. You can not get a new job in that time frame tho, as they will need an unexpired green card for the I-9. But if you don't plan on quitting your job, then nothing should happen and you're good to keep working.

 You are legal in the US until USCIS revokes that status.
