Is it the senator in my district or the state. I was looking online I saw they have several
The senator is your state (each state has 2) and your congressperson is your local district. Search your zip code and you will see and then request help from them. They will make you fill out a privacy form and then they can help you.

Hello everyone, it's been a week now the status finally said visa issued yesterday , but I still can't track my passport. I called the embassy they didn't really help. Will they email me when it is ready for pickup? Help please 🙏🏽
If it says issued, try going to DHL location you specified, bring some form of ID (a license) and see if it's there. That's what we did and we hadn't been alerted yet via email.

They're focusing on her father and my mom. Her dad's name is Gedeon Pierre and my mom's name is Jacqueline Gedeon her mom my last name is Gedeon. I made a mistake and wrote Pierre Gedeon on the I-129f form. But the DS-160 was correct and her dad's name is her birthday certificate and i figured since USCIS didn't ask anything they wouldn't. We're from two different part of the country and so does our parents. We met when she moved next door to me when I was still living in Haiti. I'm hoping copy of the birth certificates can show that our parents are born to different people.
You must have her birth extrait from the National Archive in the interview. And, if you can, have yours as well if you were born in Haiti. If NOT, have an original or certified copy of your US birth certificate that shows your parents names.

Well here's the thing. We got an email saying:
Your document(s) have been collected from the US Embassy/Consulate
So immediately I went to the travel docs website to check the status and it said "Your passport is ready for pick-up" in the lower right box of the page. It was greyed out so you couldn't click on it or anything. There was literally nothing to print to take to DHL. So he took his confirmation letter that he took to the interview and they accepted that with no problem. Now they of course kept the confirmation letter at the interview but we made copies of everything so he had an extra. He had already went earlier that morning and DHL was like "Check your email because we don't have nothing here for you" We just so happened to get an email from travel docs at like 3 in the afternoon. So he went to get it. It's weird because my CEAC status never changed.
Thank you! Our CEAC says issued but no change on the US Travel Docs website and need to check with my fiance re: an email to him.

Guy his passport is back! Yay!
Cocoa, quick question for you. The CEAC says that our visa is issued today! FINALLY. Our interview was 8/27. What did your fiance bring to DHL for pick-up. Nothing has changed in the US Travel Docs website.

Hello all I am trying to find information on the K1 visa who's fiancé or fiancée are Haitian born but lives in the Dominican Republic. I ask a question before and got an answer to that question, but I would like to know who actually went through the process in the DR and not P.au.P. Like what doctors and fees what information do he need(fiancé). I've searched and I am sure I just can't finding my answers. Thank you in advance
I can't speak to running the process in DR. But, I do know that the US Embassy will send you (via email and post to your US address), the list of approved doctors to visit for medical testing. Once you have scheduled your interview, you can reach out to the US Embassy in DR and request that information via email. Further, if your fiance has lived in Haiti or any other country since turning 16 (I believe its 16, maybe 18?), he will need to get a police report not only from DR but also Haiti.

Why are they taking so long? That worries me 😫 I hope you get an update soon! Definitely shouldn’t take any longer.
At the interview, they told us his passport would be ready in 14 days. They are taking the full 14 BUSINESS DAYS right now.

Hi 👋 guys!
My question is:
I made My question is:
I made an error in i129f where they ask the date where my fiancee
started to work. It was the year 2014 but I put 2015. I'll have an RFE for that?I highly doubt you'll get an RFE for that. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.

Right! The document delivery section or whatever it says in the bottom right. Yes they really do!
I'm living in PAP until we leave (tickets booked for 9/27) so we're going to figure it out. It seems they do get the passports w/ visas back in 14 days. With Labor Day, I was going to start looking on Monday/Tuesday.

I've checked the ceac too and it's still showing ready. From my understand in the documents section on the travel docs website it's suppose to say passport ready for pick up but mine is empty. I didn't create another account. Did you? I already had an account from when I scheduled the interview.
By documents section, you mean that bottom right hand box when you log in that says "Document Delivery?" I'm thinking something is going to be populated there when we can pick up the visa. No, I didn't make another account. They should really stop telling people to do that...it creates so much confusion.

Have any of the recent approvals recieved any type of status change as it relates to passport pickup?
We were approved 8/27. On CEAC, the last updated date was changed on 8/27 and again yesterday 9/5. But, still says "READY." I believe it will say ISSUED or something will change in the US Travel Docs website so we'll know to go and pick up his passport. I'm not too sure.

I need help..... My fiance already paid for the visa at the sogebank and did the ds-160 nonimigrant visa application since Saturday the 1st .however, I am still not able to schedule the visa interview cause it kept saying there are currently no appointments available. What can I do please?
Unfortunately, you just have to keep checking back. The embassy releases interview times in batches so you'll 2 - 4 weeks open up at once. However, you can get lucky and grab someone's cancelled slot in the near term.

Hmm, I wonder why they kept my fiancé’s passport and appointment letter. He did say that there’s 2 vaccines that they didn’t have and that he will receive it upon picking up his results on Friday so I’m wondering if maybe that’s why they kept it. They told him they’ll give it back but with Haiti you gotta be cautious with them keeping documents.
Wait! Correction - they did keep his passport and appointment letter and he picked it up when he got his results.

For those of you who completed the Medical part already, when your fiancé(e) went for their initial appt did they keep their passport & interview paper? If so, did they return it when they picked up their results?
No, my fiance kept both.
