    I am not more knowledgeable but I am  a September filer and  we received an RFE for the most recent tax year around the same time with you. 
    We send copy of 2017 W2 and 1040 to USCIS 10 days ago and they said they received it there was no problem with it.
    But of course I am still not quite sure what to do when it comes to USCIS

    I don't think a lot of people worry in that way..... It is only weird that everything takes so long for us. I mean, I came here on a K1. My EAD took 7 months. Some applicants in the same field office as me received their GC in less than 4 months.

    Woohoo!!

    Seriously, I consider every combo card that comes in now to be a victory if it's been more than five months. A paralegal has informed me that he typically sees EAD approval about a month after RFE responses are received (this info's for all lurkers and regular posters here who have gotten a late RFE and are waiting on their combo cards still). <3 you guys and stay strong.

    After waiting for 214 days (EAD)... this is my latest update as of today

    I GOT MY COMBO CARD!!  Omg, it has been 209 days since I filed. Finally, the nightmare is over. 
     
    Thanks everyone for the support and help through this horrible process. If anyone is still waiting for their EAD/AP, please feel free to message me here or via private message if there's anything I can do to help.

    Good call. haha. Considering you filed even earlier than me, is waiting for the mail making you really antsy? I kind of want to go home right now and wait outside for the mailman all afternoon.

    Uhm no. As a foreigner I would NOT want to abandon my life, my job, etc for a whole year just to see if my relationship works out. That would be easy for USC since they are home. K1 IS 90 days for a reason. No one forces you to marry that fast but the idea is that you're suppose to get to know each other before k1 arrival.
