Hi everyone,
Has anyone received the appointment interview for this month, I've been waiting since May, I was hoping to get it at the end of July. Does anyone know when is the last day they stop scheduling?
Thanks in advance.
They will start scheduling again the first two weeks of August.

I understand what your saying about taking off from work,It is difficult and not cheap. Some people on here can give advice but the way the are coming off is so nasty. Just do your research and go in believing everything will be approved. Copy everything from conversations with him and his family, take pictures of each visit. You will be fine!!

Am hoping we get something tomorrow morning. Their emails seem to be sent overnight so maybe they will work on ours today.
For those who have called to find out their interviews have been scheduled. How long afterwards have you received the official email?
I know that the Case Completed email can sometimes take a few days to be sent ( mine took a week) so is it the same for the Interview Scheduled email?
No, I called first then 10min later they emailed me the letter

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, and just looking for some support. We had our packet accepted on 2/29 so based on current time lines we are looking best case scenario end of July before we hear anything on the first round. Luckily its not that far away. The phone conversations get a little tough and mundane because with him not here and me not there, the little day to day things just don't seem as important. We are looking at scheduling me a trip to visit him again in July, but the separation is killing me. How do you all deal with being apart? Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated.
Nick
It never gets any easier, communication is very important in LDR. Video calls, messaging, and talking about your future plans will help.

Have anyone ever gone through the experience of NVC deleting or losing their file? I called NVC to see if I had a case number and invoice number, and I did, so the representative provided the numbers and I wrote them down quickly because I was at work. Later that night I was speaking to my husband about our case and he wanted to know the numbers I didnt have them with me, so I called NVC back it was on a Friday around 10pm the first rep was a guy and he told me he cant find my number, so Im like what, that doesnt make since I spoke with someone earlier, he clearly wanted to get me off the phone, we hung up and I called back right away and spoke with a woman, she did some investigating and told me to call back in a hour the managers was in a meeting and at this point Im becoming angry I dont want to go through the weekend not knowing whats going on. I hangup with her and call back and get a rep named Brian, i explained everything and ask if they record calls maybe he can go back if I can provide the time I called earlier that morning he than put me on hold for maybe 15minutes he went and got a supervisor, they proceeded to ask different questions and I explained something is not right. So they had to get someone else involved, Im about to cry at this point because I have been waiting so long to get to this point. Brian came back to the phone and said they found my information, look like someone deleted your file by mistake I was shocked he provided my numbers again and wished me a goodnight. Thank god I called back because if I didn't call that night and decided to wait for the confirmation email I would have never recieved it. Moral of the story stay on top of NVC. If you have any stories of your experience with the visa process please share.

Continue to pray on your marriage because god is the only one who can get you through this. You dont deserve the stress he is bringing you, put your foot down with him. Shame on him they talk good when they in their country but be another person in ours.

Once you filed the D160 and paid the fee, it opens the portal to schedule an appointment.
What portal? And is that for spouse visa or Fiance

Hello, I am a US Citizen that filed an i-130 and got a priority date of March 13th 2017. It was sent to the California Service Center.
I would like to know has anyone who applied in January, February, March, April or even May 2017 got their i-130 approvals yet? I am hoping to get some guidance on to how much more I have to wait until my wife immigrates to lives with me.
Any clues for me? USCIS website processing times haven't updated in months. Thank you.
Did you call them because you should have heard something back by now. My priority date is June 2017 and I am now doing consular processing.

Omg JFH you have given me so much hope!!! Thank you! Your right it is best if i stay here and be ready for him to come. We have spoken so much about the day he will come and how I will react that day I cant wait to hug him and see his face. I visualized when you purchased that one way ticket, but that feeling you had was probably unforgettable I cant wait for that day. Thank again for your positive words.

Yes, I most definitely will I need all the support I can get! And will love to read or speak with anyone who is going through what we are and their journey.

Thank you for responding EandH0904.
I have considered everything and its just not a good answer for this. I think Im stronger than him because I stay busy with work and my kids but when I have those lonely days its hard to shake. My job only allow me 2 weeks at time and it could take a good 24 to 48hrs to get there depending on the flight. It just sucks because the goodbyes never get easier and I know its a big change for my kids. I spent New Years there and it seem each month there is something that we should be celebrating together Anniversary, Birthdays, but thank you I needed to read that from you I know Im not alone

My husband and I have now been married for 1 year, He is Malian and I am American and acourse he is in Africa Im in the USA. I have a question, have anyone moved out the country to be with their spouse while waiting for the spouse visa to be approved? I feel that I have easier access to everything once NVC start asking for forms and fees I can be prepared here in the USA. Also if I move now to Africa it means income will be put on hold because I am the one who work fulltime now. I have savings but moving with 2 kids will take much of it, I just need some advice I miss my husband very much and he misses me, but im pulling in both directions.
