IF you filed everything online through CEAC .. all of the information is stored at their system and they only send you the passport with the visa through Aramex and a paper that contains instructions on how to pay the green card fee ..

It’s a new way so some officers might give you hard time at Poe “ it happened with me “ but eventually you go through 

so it’s normal don’t worry 😉

Hi @tawakol sorry for late reply I just arrived to us and was busy with traveling plans ..

i also got a cd for the x-ray but outside the envelope.. it wasn’t looked at all at the POE

Hey guys I just received my visa and my sons but no sealed package .. is that normal?

I sent only basics my birth certificate and my child’s and marriage certificate ...

It took us 55 days from CC to receive NVC mail .. it really depends on how busy the consulate is

I did the medical the past week .. I took no vaccine .. just xray and blood sample and urine sample ..

For me it took 2 weeks to CC after submitting all documents but it can be less ..

If the status changed to at NVC that’s case complete .. after submitting all required documents you get a CC ..

after a CC there is really nothing you can do but wait for the appointment letter .. then you can do medical 

Guys in the interview checklist what do they mean by 

Confirmation of your online appointment registration (see Step 1) confirming passport information.

isnt it the same steps as documents delivery registration..

am confused please help

I pray that things go faster!  Based of VJ and those reporting their times, I didn't see any October or November CR1/IR1 interviews.  But, I did see some K1's.

Hey Allison .. 4-5 months to actually go to interview or just to get a date ! Because honest to god this is too much ! 😢

We had the interview in September 18th and the officer requested additional information. From me the petitioner she asked for proof that I’m not married which is a legal document we have in Egypt. I had already gotten this document and included it in the package of document sent to the embassy prior to the interview. Despite it being valid for 3 moths and clearly stating that I’ve never been married, she requested another one dated after the interview. She also requested proof of domicile in the US from my fiancé because he lives with me in Egypt.  We asked if this means we are on AP, she said no and that I don’t have to go back for another interview.

 

We prepared these documents and sent them along with my passport to the embassy the next day.  It’s been 2 weeks now and we haven’t heard anything only that my file is still with the officer via email after several email requests for and update of the case status.  

 

Has anyone experienced something like that? 

 

The embassy here is not supportive or helpful. Can anyone recommend next steps, is there anyone we can contact, senators or congressmen, and when do you think we should start that process? 

If you don’t mind me asking what evidence did you provide for domicile
