I do know of a few that received the 221g recently, their 221g included instructions to return the passport with the documents.

My fiance also had his interview today and got the most dreaded 221g.

He needs to prove he is free to marry as he has been to the embassy twice stating he was married cos he lived with his ex girlfriend.

Though his passport was also returned to him.

I pray it goes well for us.

Yeah, he did the interview booking without a DS 160. I am assuming this happens when you have a wrong number which is meant for the DS160 receipt number. My point is, he ust have gotten his receipt numbers mixed up somewhere. He had to email the embassy and it was resolved from their end within 2days I think.

Hi, can you or anyone trying to schedule an embassy interview in Nigeria notify us here if the dates become available as my fiance is trying to schedule an interview also.

Also, does anyone have a clue when interview dates might likely be available? Dumb question, I know right?

You should do your medicals first then get your police report, pay your visa fee that's when you can fill the DS160 form then schedule your interview and pls start doing all that now before nvc sends your case to the embassy so the process will be faster to get your visa.

Thanks Segun, the police report and medical is done though I have to go back again to complete another process of the medical. Visa fee has also been paid. I tried to schedule an interview all through yesterday and today. it's requesting I complete my transaction. Don't know what transaction it's referring to. Intend to try again tomorrow and if I don't get through then I might have to go to the embassy area to have those business center guys do it for me.

Moreover, which come first? The D160 or the interview appointment.

My fiance has been trying to schedule an appointment but as soon as he gets to the point to select an appointment date, a page pops up, it reads  " you are approaching the maximum number of times you may view this page. Please complete your transaction at this time.

Did anyone have similar issues as I am also trying to get it done here and same error message keeps popping up.

Hi, I got NOA 2 Sept 19, called NVC this morning and was told it has not been received. While I have seen people with NOA2 on Sept 21 get their NVC numbers and scheduling an interview. Does it mean that same thing that happens with some getting sent and some not getting sent irrespective of the dates still happens? I don't seem to get it.

Beneficiary'sintent to marry and an error stating that I'm related to my fiance.

Everyone who has gone through the rfe phase should please write how long they waited for noa2 after sending their response to the rfe. 

We need to some sort of encouragement.😫

And to everyone waiting on their noa2 after responding to rfe, y'all need to gather here for a selfie 🤳 so we can know ourselves.😂😂😂

So it does NOT have to be original (“wet”). Scanned and emailed is absolutely fine.

I got a rfe from USCIS requesting an intent to marry from the beneficiary. Has anyone here submitted a scanned copy and got approved?

Most response I got says it has to be a wet signature while just one person said it's not necessary. I'm so confused coz asking the beneficiary to mail it down here will take about a month or more to get it.

USCIS accepts a scanned copy. Ask her to print her Intent to Marry have it signed and scan it for you. It don’t need to be in wet signature as long as the beneficiary signed it.

Hello everyone, I got a rfe, USCIS is requesting an intent to marry from the beneficiary. Can my fiance email me his intent to marry to me? Will it be acceptable? Or does he need to write and mail it which is likely going to be over a month to receive it.

There are several tools available to you to find a couple who are at or near where you are from your country. Follow them and when they get theirs you'll be right behind them.

 

Go up to Immigration Timelines on the blue ribbon above and select it. Once you are on the next page looked to your left and you will see a box that states, "find similar timelines" and select it. A list will populate with those who are processing close to your timeline. When they start to change you will soon be behind them. Also, there is another place you can go and follow others who are processing the same time you are and for the same Embassy. Go to the blue ribbon at the top of this page and select "portals". Scroll down the left-hand side of the page till you get to VJ "your country's name" Timelines. Just below it you'll see "K-1" so you select it and out pops a window with others from your country

Till today, my case status online still says "Case was received" for my K1

I thought I crossed the 200 day a longg time ago then got my NOA2 in my mailbox one day to see that they actually approved it on like day 197.

So check your mailboxes as @BJ & Christine points out
And be patient. An approval will get here when it gets here 😊
