Internet legend.  It has never been as important.  I did previous petitions back in 2004 & 2006, so it has been the same for at least 15 years

That’s great! They need to take this off the list of K1 Visa Guide... #2

    1. Copies of all airline boarding passes, train passes, itineraries, hotel receipts, passport stamps (make sure you can read the dates on the stamps), and other documentary evidence that you have met within the last two years. You may want to highlight or place post-it notes indicating the dates and locations on the copies (to make the adjudication easier) for the person reviewing your file.
    2. Color Photo's of you and your fiance together. Make sure you write your names, date, and location on the back of every photo. Provide two to five photo's. If you only have a single copy of the photo, then make a color copy and send that. If it is a digital photo, have it printed at a local photo store such as Walgreens (if at all possible) or if not on a high quality printer. Place photo's in a plastic bag or photo sheet and label the sheet. Note that you may not receive originals of photo's back.
  2.  I have never seen Tampo last this long!  It took my then fiancée 6 months  to adjust coming here from the Philippines! I would straight up and ask her does she want to go home and end the marriage.  If that is what she wants, give it to her and count your losses! I hate to see when these things happen but it does occasionally. Have you tried counseling?

My fiance will be coming to the U.S. on K1 soon (Aug 11th NOA1). We are not bringing his twins due to their age and our desire to have them raised with their mother and extended family until they are in high school. Can we use the K2 in the future (5yrs+) or must we petition as unmarried/minor children under family immigration if we want them to join us?

    Thanks,

    Andrea

Andrea, I always thought that the k2 recipients had one year to follow and join their parent in the US! Someone correct me if I am wrong.

  4. There is no set time or anything! When I met my then fiancée, we knew each other for a couple of months and I went to the PI to meet her ! This is the way I felt about it.. The worst thing that could happen was a vacation in the PI or the best thing that could happen was to meet my future wife! As of June 30th 2007 we have been happily married! My wife is a US Citizen now and though a marriage is never perfect , we both would do the same thing over again! Go with your heart buddy and don't pay attention to the critics!

  5. When we did the CFO IN 2007, my fiancée then had to go back again with a letter from both hospices to prove why there was a delay when the doctors signed my 2nd and 3rd wives Death Certificates! Both of my wives had died at home under hospice care due to brain cancer and breast cancer! They made me feel like a criminal! Since that time I have zero respect for CFO in the Philippines! What gives these Azzholes the right to pry in my past marriages ??

  6. Waiting is always sweet experience my friend...

My friend... I am sure you have filed the petitioned for K1 Visa and waiting for the approval.

Please come with your reasonable query over here. If you have filed any petition for K1 Visa, then please wait, you will receive the letter from USCIS.

Why you are interested in other NOA2 Just concentrate on yours...That's it...you will get it.

    Thanks

Please don't try to take the wind out of other peoples sails!!!! The questions were very legit and were only trying to get info from other March Filers! Have a stiff drink or just go back to bed!!
