    To all those of you with interviews coming up.... I know your pain! You have to leave it all to God and be positive. Go to your interview well dressed and ready, don’t show you’re nervous and answer all questions promptly.
    Good luck to you all 🙏🏼

    @Abies @Don Godwin any updates?
    @Sugarlegetiti has your husband received it all ?
    Looks like my GC is on the way so I’m very happy

    I recommend you going rather than calling and ask them if they started making them since your point of entry. If they have started doing it they can give you your social security number.

    Make sure you have all police certificates and other documents needed ready to go, any translations, anything just go make sure you have it and wait for NVC to get to you. As soon as you get a Case Number things will start moving fast!!!!

    I'm doing very well thanks! Been a bit too lazy just staying at home cooking dinner for the hubby and going for walks at night to get dessert  will head to the Social Security Office tomorrow morning to see what's happening with mine. I've read it's a 50/50 chance they might be making it already as they may not, so i will just go and check what's up. I'm updating my resume at the moment. Got to file a form to send to USCIS as they kept my original marriage certificate..! Any of yous know when to expect the GC? I'm dying to start working to be honest haha i'm just at home all day, but still not too keen on going out by myself unless with bae haha so a job will be perfect so i could meet some people!

    How are you all?

    I apologise in advance if i sound like a big .
    In my opinion, you have not thought this well.
    You fell in love, whatever, got married but met only 1 time? and you both can't afford many expenses, so what do you think will happen?
    What i learned from my journey is that this hasn't been easy and immigration is strict (as it should be).

    Lawyers make many mistakes, and they do not guarantee visa approval.

    Casablanca i's not an easy embassy, i wish you well, but i encourage you to be ready of a possible denial. There's no way you could be married to someone and in the course of 4 years only see each other in 1 occasion.

    Maybe someone will find this POE helpful - Los Angeles CA September 21:

    There were lines for us citizens, esta waivers, and so many others I just can’t remember, all I can tell you is that it was busy!!! Luckily I’ve asked about 3 people working at the airport on which line to take, and the last person was very nice that took me to an express line, in which I lined up for only 4 minutes. When it was my turn a nice officer asked me purpose of my trip and I told her I was moving there on a spouse visa, kept checking my passport and looked at me and I added : I have a package from the embassy, and she said: Yep, i need that, come with me. She then took me to a room and on the way she was asking me about my age because I’m considered young to be married and told her my husband’s the same age and that he is in the military and she then said “that explains why” but was very friendly all the way and wished me the best. Once inside the room she left and said someone would call me, so just sit down and wait. There were already 30 people in the room waiting, and I could hear some  people complaining saying they’ve missed their flight. Luckily I’ve been called after only 5 minutes and another officer asked me for the package, asked me some personal questions and was saying jokes and made sure my address was right and was very nice all along. He then stamped my passport and said : welcome home, have a good one
    Time from first officer at passport check to being in the room it took me 15 minutes total. Everyone was very nice !

    For all of those of you waiting whether for a CC or interview date, it’s all coming to an end and we will all be reunited with our loved ones and be appreciative that this experience has taught us patience, faith and has shown us that love is strong and conquers it all. I wish the very best to each and one of you and never forget to have God in your heart because he’s the main reason for us to get to the finish line with a happy heart next to our spouse ❤️ Thank you VJ members!!
