Ya, it's comforting to see a lot of other people going through the same process, even if the cases are different the feeling of the waiting is the same. We don't have the case tracker, he said was too much, sooo we are just waiting

Same boat here. I'm unemployed, actually because we were both on a long trip in Asia but he had his job waiting and I didn't, so I came back and we applied, I could never believe this process would take this long. And it's so funny because he presented VJ to me and in the beginning I was like "baby, this is crazy, we'll be crazy reading this every day", and now I'm the one following and commenting and he is the one saying "baby, stay away from this stories, don't follow that much". And, big and, I'm the calm one and he is the anxious one. 
 
Well, Actually our same boat is that the beneficiaries are brazilians Waiting for our facetime  
Sorry, i got carried away... Good luck to us, lets hope for this waiting to be over

Yes, we are all in the dark with no explanations, and we also don't know for sure how much people tell in their story line when they say they don't have anything in their past when you go to this thread from months ago and people are still waiting with no news. 
 
So, same here, we are both pretty basic, we traveled a lot in the last few months and we never had any issues with any visa, I have a 10 years U.S. Visa, no issue whatsoever to get it back in 2014. So, we just keep saying our mantra "our noa2 is coming, they don't have any reason to hold us back and we'll be together in May to start our boring routine with morning waffles."

I am not panicking until they change processing dates to Nov. 1 
I saw enough things to know not to panic till then

All these cases are probably done background checks a few weeks ago and came back.
And per their dates and when they came back got to a new order.
Now adjudicators are picking up from whatever came back in the order they came back (that is why we mostly see an order but not totally)
I am sure they touched every case between the last date we saw updated at least once even if we don't see it.
Because what are the possibilities of all of the 15 not coming back but that one case of 18 did?
Also I don't think these updates happen at the time of approval or request.
I think they do it. and there is another queue for it to get printed out and send.
Thats another reason why some dates don't match, and why sometimes we learn on phone but it is not out yet.
 
So yep They will - as always they do- go through the month. while also touching here and there. Then move towards the next month while doing September overall for at least 2-3 weeks. So I'm not panicked at all. because this is how they did for months at least as I observed. And I actually find it rather lucky to be in the first batch they finish of that date

There is no such logic. 
Because not all cases comes back from security cases in the same order as they go. 
So the wac number overall doesn't mean anything. 
 
It just means for example some cases from those date came back already and got in line and got processed, or it will get processed soon.
then when the new batches comes they will be processed as it comes.  
 
This is all what I gathered so far from listening to people, both the ones that got early and who got stuck in security checks etc.

Hi there, in flying on Tuesday and my flight is to NY but my POE will be in atlanta , since I have a connection there. I understand your fear, South Americans has this scar of people going to US illegally, even with the best intentions we can't avoid to be nervous. But I'll not hide my true intentions, my only reason of going there is to see my fiance, it's not a holiday trip. And I would advise you to do the same, since they can be testing if you are telling the truth, if they already know you have a K1 application. I
 
And yes, just say if asked, and always the truth, that's the plan 😃 with a return ticket!
