This process is painfully slow its been two years now since my wife had Biometrics taken and now website finally says ready for interview. Wow crazy slow process. 
Who knows how long it will take to get an interview date and then the green card........
 
Were in northern california the slowest 

on the USCIS Website says it can take 2 years. The issue is what good is it if my wife has received hers two months ago and it will expire in 10months yet my son who sent it in at same time has no idea 
when will get his. I might as well reapply for my wifes now since it takes so long

good suggestion thank you. My wifes advance parole will nearly expire by the name our boys makes it. That really defeats the purpose altogether since they wanted to travel back home together.

It has been one of the most difficult processes we have ever taken on....so glad we finally received the green light. I was about to consider moving to Colombia and maybe later one day I will. this has been an exhausting long process that still continues hope to get a quick resolution here for my Fiancé and her 10 year old son. 

Ceac website went from ready to application received after my fiancé had her interview this morning 

That just means ready for the interview 

Status just says  Ready

that makes sense. I can scan and send later, I havent filed last years taxes yet but will in the next few months.
