Hello. My wife and I received our NOAA1 on Nov. 29, Nebraska. I'm reading that several Nov filers received their NOAAs in May, which is about 6 months as expected. The USCIS site is showing the processing date today for Aug. 5 with an estimated time range of 8 to 10.5 months. The date normally changes by one day each day but literally went from July to August since yesterday. Given that cases are receiving a NOAA2 at around 6 months, the processing date on the website is confusing. I'm not sure what the processing dates mean on the website. Is there anyone who can better understand this?

Hi! the processing dates on USCIS website are always behind... the most accurate dates are here in visajourney.

  2. Hi!

I want to create this topic to share our approvals dates and experiences with NVC and the main  purpose is to learn about this process together. We just got approved on May 22,18 and  we want to learn more... It doesn't matter your visa category the most important is to reach our goal to be with our families. Thanks for your time!

I did a search on the thread of NVC may 2018 filers and the range of USCIS to send your case to NVC can take up to 3 weeks.

as for assigning case number the normal time is around 6 weeks and up to 8.

You have to call NVC weekly if you want to be on top of things.

I hired a lawyer and his estimates to get case no is 60 days which is close to what’s going on here on VJ ..

Thank you so much for this information

    Thank you very much! 🙏🏻

Ours is consular processing too, but we are at the first stage (application received) Just trying buy some time, for when I’m at your stage.

I think this first part of the process is very difficult ... all the anxiety to don't know when will be approve, then when others near your date are getting approved while you still waiting  is not easy! but the day will eventually come. Texas is working very good. Once you receive your approval you can have a very idea when your family member will be here!

I know I am a long ways away but, I’m trying to be ahead of the game, so no time is lost.

Because IRS transcripts take 10 days to arrive, I’ve already ordered them yesterday. I intend to fill affidavit of support forms too.

Can you think of anything else I can do/prepare, even partially?

    Thank you 🙏🏻

Our case is with the consulate...

Only copies are necessary to send to NVC  and originals are needed the day of the interview at the consulate.

    *birth certificates, both

*I-864 affidavit, IRS transcript, w-2 petitioner

    *divorce decree, beneficiary

    *Police certificate, beneficiary

so far these are the documents that we are getting...

I know some cases can be different in special if the beneficiary has been illegally in USA, overstayed visa, and things like that...

I just got the actual notice of the NOA2 in the mail box date 24/05/2017 , dated 2 days before the notice by email.

by what things are going at the NVC, all who got approved expect around 60 days for the assignment  of a case number and issuance of fee bills. Good luck 🍀 to everyone.

    our cases are very similar

    NOA 1, 11/24/17

    NOA 2, 05/22/18

lets see how long NVC takes...

    :jest:Good luck:jest:

    Hi!

We are waiting for the NVC case# too. I think NVC just received your case  from USCIS on May 17. I hope you do not have to wait 8 weeks from the May 17th... but looks like. The most important is that you are already in NVC

This waiting is frustrating.  Leaving my husband in the morning - going back to US without him is painful.  Hope this is the last trip without an approval in my hand

On April 30th I felt the same way when I returned back home to Boston without my love💓. I told him, I hope this is my last time returning home alone. I know next time I will be with you or I will waiting at home for you  and have everything ready for your arrival.

Hi guys please some can help me with the I 130 waiting time I sent the application from my spouse in February ?

    Thanks all.

    Hi!

If you are only waiting for the approval of your I 130 petition the waiting time depends of your USCIS office. We were at Texas and with got the approval in almost 6 months. Then the NVC and interview should be in less time. The total process can take 10 to 14 months of you don't get any RFE during the process. Good luck!
