As previously explained, people are getting their NOA2's one of three ways:

1. Via USCIS website/app update

2. Via USPS post, with no USCIS website/app update

3. Via tier 2 call w/ USCIS (and most of the time they cannot tell you, this is luck of the draw)

 

It's an open and closed book. If you come here asking questions, please be prepared to hear things that you may not want to hear. NO ONE is going to lie to you, at least intentionally.

Where did I said she lied about that ? Maybe you misconstrued I made a comment stating when the app or mail services weren't updated yet ( stating approvals etc) the daily scan which consisted of the case numbers can assist those who may see similar case numbers or their case numbers for some ease of reference because in most cases contacting USCIS directly or because in some cases with those like myself whom live in countries with poor receptions it is easier to identify approvals consisting of the wac numbers provided on the scans.  I stated I understood due to privacy these numbers where not placed on this forum which I have no problem with . 

I merely stated from past experience when friends saw no activity on apps emails etc or still showed when their application was received and no further updates online until later that day or the day after the scan with case numbers assisted them.  

As I said I never discredited nor did I said they lied to me or is withholding info etc . 

I understand if the case has not been handled or processed yet to be placed on the scan it will not show up else where.

Then one or the other thing you say is conflicting; cause what you say would mean that I do have access to some mysterious insider knowledge.

This is logically impossible unless I do have special access.. and I don't.

 

During my time here by the way is the time these scans happened. And I was there watching every single one of them. 

I am here since September watching them. I have all the numbers updated too ,if your friend would like to check.

 

It is basically just checking each number on the website and nothing else... 

 

And sorry but anything is not possible, there's a simple mathematical logic on how these works. 

Just needs some computer and server knowledge to know it is not possible.

Yoo now you taking it a little overboard never said you were those things either . I never said adjust your attitude etc. I explained to you when you get on forums like this there are going to be people from different walks of life with different experiences to be shared simple If you are saying you are being fair under the conditions cool, I'm not about to go in this back and forth with you.

apps don't update data on time, however uscis website always does first. If it's not there it's not in the scans.

Ok jokes aside , you and I don't know each other and understandably if you are trying to assist others you have to know you will be dealing with people whom don't always share the same views,knowledge or humor as you. As for stating that the person lied I will hate to believe seeing it with own eyes while they ran the scan multiple times to make sure as well as screenshots that were sent because they were unsure topping off someone whom I knew personally please don't dismiss my statement if you have not witnessed this during your time here . 

This forum was made to assist others and I'm not into the drama so if you think I'm attacking you or discrediting you I am not I am just simple sharing what I have witnessed with others for future references because anything is possible.

I have known filers whom received no notifications on any medium; email, text, calls, mail, status updates on website or app. However when checked with daily scans they saw their case number as being approved and received their physical and updated approval days later . 

Realised you edited your initial comment , I'm not stating that you were trying to hide anything because you don't upload the case numbers due to privacy of those filers I was just asking if there was a way I can check that very same scan on my own to review the cases numbers for that particular date .

I'm August 24th , checked online and no updates yet, asked my fiancé to check his emails etc, is there anyway I can have check on this scan provided to see if any of the case numbers for 24thAugust match mine?

179 days , six months since I've last seen my fiancé. This is a very draining process , despite the approvals I've seen I'm feeling completely helpless and it's disappointing to be waiting this long , there is a strong possibility that I will be missing my fiance's bday once again. We can't even plan a proper vacation in fear of him losing money on a trip when the approval may be around the corner . 

USCIS , congratulations! There should be no need for any RFE mainly because if there haven't been any withdrawals for those cases in question obviously means these couple are trying to keep their together for 6 months plus period while y'all keep delaying.  

Christmas is over !!!!!!!!! Easter is right around the corner we almost in March for goodness sake .

Expediting stating financial loses because of all the trips and deposits on wedding arrangements is a waste of time now ! 

I cannot believe there are sooooo many RFE's and sooooo many cases still hasn't been attended to since May 2017 . 

What is going on? Really? No sense of professionalism , when you call it's the same bogus ####### being repeated , not even an email, or letter stating we have been delayed due to xyz reasons . 

Applicants have to survive on forums such as this to go by he said she said .

A beautiful thing in my life has been spent on 6 mths of wondering what the EFF is gonna be my next move if they deny us or if they will ever try to assist us when we call them.

11 Feb is gonna make it 6 months since I last saw my fiancé, due to unfortunate circumstances he can't visit me as we originally planned  😢 my God USCIS please hurry.... I cannot imagine not seeing my fiancé for another 3-5 months making it almost a year, because we are trying our best not to spend too much money on flights and vacations in general so we will be financially stable for this process and it's requirements. It is not easy to remain positive every day , I am honestly starting to feel depressed , thinking about if we God forbid get a RFE for the process to be delayed further . My word I wish you would of really charged a higher price and had more workers I'm sure most of us wouldn't mine especially if it meant an improved service and a greater chance of being married sooner .

So I read on this timeline 31 July was updated as RFE is it really a possibility of August Filers receiving info soon? Does this mean that, that particular application may have been expedited? I am confused because a few days away I read USCIS was just updating May/June Filers with NOA2 and RFE . I really really hope they started to touch on August filers because they have reached that far rather than they touching the ones that were expedited and then going back to May/June . This is so depressing. Every day this process hangs over my head like I committed a crime and awaiting trial. Sigh  😢

Ya'll think we have any chance of receiving NOA2 this month or the beginning of next month?

I stopped putting timelines on this as it gives me anxiety to know that this 5-7 Month process is basically 8 Months - 1 year finalisation now .

I dislike when people tell me it's only been 5 months, wait it out you'll see . :/ why would I be comforted by hearing things such as that ? 

5 Months away from my fiance is a long time , USCIS congratulations !! Thank you for your hard work and dedication. I know your job is demanding and requires the utmost respect for all the profiles you may have to go through everyday . Haunted by faces in your dreams because you are ultimately determining if these people after waiting and praying for several months deserves to continue their relationship and get married . 

God's timing ..... No more process timing.... 

August Filers it’s possible that the beginning of August should expect NOA2 by Mid Feb to the ending of Feb whilst the latter part of August at the beginning of March , I could be very wrong but it is what it is at this point . We have to say it’s better for late approvals than possible denial and the process having to either be redone or the relationship suffer the breakup because of the stressful situation. Expected NVC can be within 4-6 weeks time of the NOA2 and another 4-5 weeks time with completed medical, interview dates etc. Alien fiancée like myself may not be able to be married until  the months of June - August 2018 if God is in our favor. This is complete BS but as I started saying it is what it is. I have not been able to see my fiancé for a total of 5 months now , and we have had to spend yet another Christmas and New Year apart. I get extremely emotional when he’s asking me when am I finally gonna be with him or when is he gonna be able to see me again. We have been saving everything we have to begin our future and sacrificing seeing each other because we want no problems when USCIS ask for the Affidavit of Support documents. I am extremely disappointed by this, One year process for what should of been a 6month process. USCIS whomever is your Directors in charge please I urge you , money is being spent on this we are not begging favors, many of the alien fiancée will be aiding to your country (paying taxes , possible careers such as doctors etc) We still have to incur additional fee payments for the actual K1 Visa online application as well as medical fees. Pleaseeee I urge you do what is needed to be done . Generate and deligate the appropriate personnel to the countries which have the most applications and need the extract security checks. I do not understand and will not accept the reasons being more applications is being filed for the mere fact of if you already know what is the potential problem then why haven’t you yet solve and provided the adequate solutions? My fiancé has been prolonging his career for me and I have been forced to change career paths due to the uncertainty of the once initial expected processing times. This is high class nonsense and though I may not be versed in the knowledge of your demanding your job responsiblities, understandably petitioners and beneficiaries do deserve notices from your Offices with some sort of explanation and without having to speak with an automated recording taking me circles as if my life applies selecting numbers 1-6 Sigh!!!

I have come to the conclusion Government is not in the outcomes business at all...we pay MORE money for less work (ie lenghty wait times). On the other hand, the long wait times for K1 and CR1 weed out the fraudulent applications..That maybe the strategy?

I definitely cannot meet him anywhere anytime soon as we are trying to be very cautious and attentive to our finances. He not sick to die THANK GOD but it is just frustrating to not be present to attend to his basic needs.  

Hey everyone , 24 Aug NOA1 was received . I will be pleased to be added to any group discussions on  the process and timeline of receiving NOA2’ . 

Praying for for a successful and smoothe journey. 

Am I wrong but does the K1 Visa process seem to be moving prettyyyyy slow this year . My fiancé and I have known each other for six years now and have been dating a year. After a few attempts of the B1/B2 Visa (solely for the purpose of spending time with each other)and it being denied , we finally decided we wanted to be married anyway so why further prolong the courtship . We filed back in August and received the NOA1 just two days after sending it to USCIS Texas .

We were extremely excited and ready to begin our beautiful journey and immediately started planning our wedding, apartment details and even furnishings . Well as the months continue to grow it is beginning to get harder and harder. This process has definitely put a serious toll on our engagement and not being able to see him 5 Months now is  painful. Christmas is in the air and it gets really depressing especially the thoughts of not beginning the year with your fiancé at your side .

I’m wondering why has the process become so long . A 5-6 month process has now become a 8month - 1 year process. This is ridiculous! The main reason the K1 Visa was invented is to not only have the alien fiancé  be eligible to marry and live with their spouse , but to also be with the love of their life. Why put people through all of this ? It is totally unfair ! Having movie and dinner dates are not memorable over the phone every time . I understand there is an order and process BUT how about working with us for your sake and ours’ .

How about hiring new Consulars or Clerks or Staff in general to assist with the obvious backlog of cases . Develop a program that can navigate the countries that has the most filers and in need of extra attention for legal purposes etc . Come on people it’s just a couple weeks shy of 2018. There are gonna be more filers added on to the existing ones. You get to go home to your family, spouse etc . Think about the K1 filers on bending knees every night asking God to help them receive another notice soon .

This post may never get the eye or attention from the respective representatives of USCIS and I’m for the record not stating that the information and their job is an easy process , however I do suggest regardless of President elects or immigration laws or even general staff shortage please be more mindful of what you guys are doing.

My fiancé told me trust in him America is well organized, professional and orderly. Then why such a drastic change in the process? Recruiting new staff not easy??? Ahhhh I think not ! There are millions of people out there looking for a good Government job.

Military wives and administrators are also a great suggestion for such delicate information being provided to USCIS . I have been on this journey for sometime now fighting to be with the love of my life, finally feeling complete and finally seeing why God waited for the right time to bring us together.  

But, instead of being able to take care of my sick fiancé I have to watch him on a screen and try to be humble enough to be afforded to at least have some visual of him. What was suppose to be a beautiful time in our lives has turned out to be the most torturous thing ever. Thank you USCIS .
