That's not true I became a us citizen 2014, and I filed i-130 to my 2 children that time they are 17 and 14 years .They came here April 13th 2016,the 14 years was qualified for citizen I did not wait until 2 years before got his citizen.I paid their fees 3 months after, one for green card and one for citizen. The green card was received in 3 weeks and 6 months time USCIS sent me the letter date  and time to go to local USCIS office with my son to swear in as a citizen

-First, after become US citizens, you can file IR2 visa for your daughter( It will took around 12-14 months).
-After your daughter admitted to the States with IR2 visa, she will automatic become US Citizens. You can apply US Passport for your daughter.

I submitted birth certificate, school records, baptism certificate, received of money transfer and affidavits of my family and his family and pictures of my son and me but I didn't have early childhood pictures together with him and birth certificate was not early birth certificate,it was late birth certificate. The C.O was not convinced because C.O noticed that the birth certificate was late and we don't have early childhood pictures,so C.O asked or requested  my son for DNA test if my son was willing to do the test( it's Optional)and my son accepted,so we did the DNA test. That is the final thing to proved my relationship to my son.

The DNA is the final prove of the relationship, and you don't need to bother yourself looking for that evidence. The only thing that can delay your case is the C.O is going to request a DNA test from your child if you don't have enough evidence to proves your relationship at the time of the interview. This is the process for the DNA if requested by C.O(1)The C.O is going to give you a letter that your name and child name on it(2)That letter carry with your I.D card to any accredited DNA office that USCIS approved(3)After DNA test they will send  back  to the requested office(4)After C.O received the DNA test,C.O will schedule the child date and time for he/her DNA test(5)The child will go with the copy of the letter requested for DNA with he/her passport with 2 passport photos (6)If the child is under 18 the petitioner has to write a letter for trusted person to accompany the child to DNA office for the test(7)The trustee will go with the I.D card(8)After both finished the DNA test the samples will send to U.S for conducting and after that they send results back to the requested office again(9)And if you pass the test the C.O will write or call  you to bring your passport, medical reports and police certificate to dhl office. This can take you 3 to 6 months approximately sometimes longer than that.

You can't do DNA on your own, but if you don't have enough evidence to proves your relationship C.O can requested DNA test or asked you you to do DNA.

You need to be prepared for the journey you are about to take.Keep all these documents(1)Marriage certificate(2)marriage photos both of you and your family and friends of both sides(3)keep all receipts that related to your relationship including money transfer and plane tickets(4)mailing letters and post cards from both of you and make sure you have a lot of evidence to proves that your marriage is legitimate.

Make sure you have a lot of evidence to proves your case, remember the evidence you provide to the N.V.C office is the one they're going to used to submit your documents to your interview place and if it's not sufficient the C.O will write to provide the rest of the evidence.(1)Your pictures both of you and your family and friends of both sides (2)chat history both U.S and Ghana(3)money transfer receipts both U.S and Ghana(4)Any receipts related between both of you.

Issue means they stamped your visa to your passport but not send to dhl,the process will last within  14 days but not 14 days exactly. When dhl received your passport dhl will send you a message with proxy forms for pick up.

Kris & me:Good you said it all, the immigration system for marriage is totally different. Most of the people don't understand how immigration works, we have two(2)common words in immigration processing but the meaning for that two (2)common words are stressful(REFUSED AND DENIED)Some certain cases COs can refused for lack of documents and evidences submitted and the case will send back to USCIS for further investigation and if everything works in good they send the case back to COs where you interview for approval and it take a lots of time.Denied is a denied you can't do anything about it,normally(10)out of(100)cases are mostly denied and (90)out of(100)are refused. So all cases refused by COs got second chance to proved your eligibility. All the cases has been review by COs before the interview so if you are approved they know before your interview. Keep it up and good luck.
