Yaaayyy we fnally received interview date today for October 15.
C"c was Sept 6 and Sept 21 interview date. Can't believe it's so quick...just 3 weeks. Booked my flight to be with my husband for interview. It's been a long road after our k1 was denied in 2016. Please give prayer everything goes smoothly to approval Insha'Allah

You must pay the green card fee before traveling to usa. If your approved, they give u the bill to pay after ur interview at embassy

The amount for a 2 person household -your petitioner must make at least $21,575.00 to meet the guideline for a sponsor. And if your petitioner has any household members they are also responsible for, it increases for each person.

Nvc clearly states that any documents you uploaded to them, bring all the originals of those documents to ur interview. They will view and compare them against what u uploaded to be sure they were not tampered with.

Yes finally maybe things will more faster for everyone. No more dam snail mail processing. I'll be excited the day Ali has his visa in hand, until then I'll hold it all in 😅this time I'm going to the interview. My one year wedding anniversary is Aug 15. ❤

To log into ceac.state.gov/IV/Login you need both case number and invoice number to pay aos and iv application fees. You can't log in with ur case number alone.

You can treat ur spouse as a non resident alien for tax filing purposes. You will have to paper file. He will need to fill out a w7 application for a tax ID number. When filling in ur 1040 leave the SSN box empty and enclose the w7 with ur tax return. There are several ways you can file. Google foreign spouse tax filing and it will give you the choices.
