I have an interview appt on August 18th. I found out today by a phone call from my pro bono. She only came to office once a week and found out my appt notice issued at early July. 
 
I have 6 days to prepare and no way i can contact the pro bono. 
 
Please help me
 
1. Form i864w,  do i have to carry it with me. I dont even know how to fill it yet? Can i fill it by my self or must be under the probono preresentative? 
 
2. There is no way i can complete a i693 on time. So i have a appt with uscis dr on Friday,  08/16/2020. I will ask dr office a paper/reciept as proof that i tried my best to fulfill requirements. Hopefully they conduct my interview
 
3. Do i have to bring all application,  including i360 form,  my affidavit,  my friends affidavit,  police report,  pictures? 
 
4. Since the furlough is seemed official,  how is that affected to our chance to be approved?  
 
Fyi,  my i765 was out of normal processing time. I contacted my congressman and uscis sent a letter to my probono told me that they wont discuss my case with 3rd party (congressman office). I informed congressman office and they agreed they were 3rd party. So in my case congressman was not helpful. 
 
I also submit form ar-11 to change my mailing address. Never had any mail from them either.
 
Even now with appt notice,  my online case status is still "finger print was taken". 
 
Pretty much messed up right now

My EAD Renewal.
 
Hello everybody,  I applied for my EAD renewal in the beginning of May 2020. My payment for the renewal was taken out of my account ($410) as ACH by uscis on 5/12/20. I was unable to see the receipt number since i can not view the image of the check front or back. I did not receive any receipt in the mail. All of a sudden yesterday I received my approval notice for the EAD Renewal (C09) in the mail.  It took almost 3 months. Now I have the receipt number and looking forward to see update on the card production message. What a relief.
 
 

I used pro bono asstistance from NGO. 
 
In my i360 phase,  they said its safe to not concurrently file all in one. I believed them. Few months later, i found out VJers,  tried to reach them again. They said my case is only allowed conxurrently filed at the same time. LIAR. 🤮
 
From here i knew my i360 missed some papers. Contacted pro bono to submit them. They said : wait for RFE. I asked them about blue paper so i would submit by myself,  they said :WAIT
 
there are some more annoyed delayed from my case directly related to that NGO counselor. 
 
when my case got approved after 2 years waiting, i talked to tge supervisor and they changed a different counselor. 
 
since i485,  i missed 2 biometrics appt because of NGO mailing system😭. Thats why i filed AR11,  contacting congressman on my own relatef to EAD c14
 
i am considered myself lucky because this interview i have 6 days to prepare. Eventhough uscis issue notice at early July. Thanks to that NGO amd my own experience,  i would rather ask you guys,  VJ family,  than try to reach the counsellors.  And the fact they dont go to office lately,  cant reach them on phone or email. VJ is the only resource i have
 
also because of all related stuffs with NGO working style,  reschedule or ask them to file any paper on my behalf is luxury.
 
my plan is going to interview,  ask the officer about my EAd. Even if i am lucky enough, hopefully they will hand me Rfe for medical. If rfe would be sent to NGO by mail,  it would have been another 90 day waiting that cousellor to find out in their NGO mailbox.

I dont have c31 in hands. My pro bono said she never reveived it. I only have c14 in hands. Dont know if it counted for 180 days extension

@Demise: i think i would take a risk.  I also want to ask an officer if my ead still valid to work.  They dont answer to the congressman or my inquiry online twice. No hope with the pro bono will help me out with anything but filing i485 last year.  Hopefully with that interview i can ask an officer.  Being able to work is important since most of us are excluded from all the stimulus check while EDD is like heavy traffice jam barely move anywhere.

1. Been a while since I've seen a I-864W since they're no longer used (though I suppose that they still take them for whoever filed I-485 back before it was changed). You can fill it out on your own without a problem. Only things it asks for is your information (name, address, date of birth, place of birth, A-number, SSN) and why are you claiming an exemption from filing I-864 (Box 1.d.) "I am filing for an immigrant visa or adjustment of status as a battered spouse or child using Form I-360", and you sign the requestor's signature and date it. It's probably the easiest form out there.
2. The safest option would be to ask them to reschedule the interview. Otherwise you can try to risk it going in without the I-693, hopefully they'll give you an RFE for it after the interview. They pretty much cannot approve you without it however.
3. No, the interview only pertains to whether or not you're admissible, they should not ask any questions related to the previously approved VAWA petition.
4. If the furlough does happen either they'll keep your interview and issue a decision, or they will cancel it and reschedule later.

Wow! This is the first time in a long time I've heard of any interview! Things are looking up obviously!😊 anyways I went with my i864w ..they never asked for it..just my medicals. But please take with you all relevant documents for your i485 petition. Your attorney can help you fill out the i864w if not it's pretty easy to fill out. No stress there! You do not need to go with affidavits et al from your i360 petition which has already been adjudicated! The furlough doesn't affect i485 decisions in anyway so relax. As for the i693, you are suppose to take it along with you..is there no way you can make it happen? Find a way..if not, you'll be required to send it in before a decision is reached on your case. The USCIS updates sometimes don't reflect current status so don't fret about that. Be sure to take all original documents with you..marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc..All the best dear, may God go with you!🙏👍

Good to know that dear!😊 they probably will send you both the approval notice and deffered action notice...whatever you go through in life always hold on to positivity, shake off negative energy!!! When you see a way, there will always be a way..when you see only closed doors you remain shut out!!!
