Yay!! This gives me hope that mine may happen soon.  Been waiting since may of 21.

Unfortunately,  29 months is 882 days, so I'm still within the norm.

769 days and counting.  It was updated to show finger prints taken in June 2021. The wait lingers on and on.

My daughter and I got our 48 month extension letters today. Potomac service center.

Just got mine and my daughter's 48 month extension letters today. We filed in May of 2021. Good to know we can at least renew our drivers licenses, if nothing else. 

As a k1, what SHOULD my resident since date be on my GC?

I'm going to be applying to remove conditions soon(I assume), but I realized that mine and my daughters resident since dates are different, even though we did all paperwork and interviews at the same time.  Mine has our wedding day as the residency date.

I'm going to be sending my I 751 soon, and I just realized that mine and my daughter's cards don't have the same resident date or expiration date. We both arrived at the same time and both got our green cards at the same time. Mine expires in Sept 2020, hers not until sept 2021. We both arrived here in 2018. Just wondering if this is a typo, or due to the fact that I'm a spouse and she's the sponsored child?

I'm worried about ending up in a mess if it's a typo.

That's awesome.  Congratulations! Our interview is tomorrow in Charlotte,  fingers crossed that we have the same great experience that you did.

So my husband, daughter and myself have to go to Charlotte, NC for our AOS interview in 10 days. I'm in the process of gathering up all my paperwork again and I just wanted to be sure that I don't need to bring the i864 again (I mailed it with my application). Also, should I fill out and take i693? I already submitted my medical report to them when I entered the country. 

I'm also stressing a little after reading some of the reviews.  My husband is terrible with dates and I'm afraid it'll raise concerns at the interview. 

UGH the stress! Fingers crossed that it will soon be done and over with. 

So is it better to send I485 first and wait for noa before sending the rest of the forms?

Would a K2 child also be eligibility category C9 on the EAD forms?

I'm in the process of filling out AOS paperwork for both my daughter and myself. I have filled in her forms, but i'm not sure what to check off in section 10 - applicant's statement. I filled it out, I will have her sign it (shes 16), but wondering if i should check 1a, as she is fluent in English, then check box 2 and put myself in as her preparer?

I applied for my SS card yesterday, and they told my 16 year old daughter they couldn't issue one for her. Anyone else run into this problem?

My husband and I just got married on sept 7th. I applied for my SS card and was told it had to be in my maiden name because thats what USCIS has. No, issue there. BUT, my marriage certificate shows my maiden name, not my married name. Will it still be ok to file AOS and EAD with my married name? 

I'm sure its been asked a million times before, but can someone  point me towards a forum for filing for adjustment of status for K1/2 visas?

Not sure where else to post this question....but i'm wondering if i need to keep any of the paperwork i took to the consulate for when i do POE? Obviously, i need to keep my originals and the packet that came with my visa. Just wondering if its safe to get rid of the photocopies of things like DS 160s and the I 134?

So, i'm a little confused about port of entry. I'll be flying to Pearson international airport in Toronto, then on to Charlotte, NC. Would i be showing my visa package in Toronto or Charlotte?

My evidence of relationship is all printed out and ready to go for the interview in MTL.

I have itineraries, boarding passes and passport entry stamps from my two visits to see my USC since we filed in November (Dec 2017 for 10 days and May 2018 for 7 days), pages of phone call logs from November until current and over 50 photos of us together showing both of us with each other's families plus engagement photos. I spent less than six months (but consecutively) in the US in 2016 so we could see if our lifestyles were compatible. I have a copy of my engagement ring and wedding dress receipts plus all of our evidence of trips from before we applied including emails between me and his family.

Do you really think I need to provide any more evidence that our relationship is bonafide? I have all of our chat logs from years and years of conversations but I really dont feel like going through it all anymore and printing excerpts.

What do you think....

My interview was this past Wednesday, and nothing was asked for as proof of relationship. I did bring some just in case though.

All they asked for was on the P3/4 checklist. Just make sure to have multiple copies of everything. And make sure to have a long form birth certificate.

It was by far the easiest part of this whole process.  Everyone was very nice.  Waited for our number to be called,  passed in our paperwork as she asked for it, and took a seat to wait again.  Got called to a second window, and the lady asked how we met, when we first met in person, how long my longest visit was and what he does for work.  I didn't have to give any additional information. And they didn't even ask for our ds160s or 129f. Although I assume they already had those.

We're approved!!!!

Just had our medicals done today....now to explore Montreal until Wednesday when we have our interview.  Sooooo close now!

I'm wondering if anyone has had problems with appointment availability around the date of their interview? Like within a week beore? (I know it takes 3 days to get the results). I called Medisys in Montreal to ask about this before i booked my visa interview (K1). They were very flexible, and even joked that they could get me in that day if i could make it lol. They are quite accommodating. 

Once approved, roughly how long does it take to get the paperwork to allow you to cross the border?

Just got my packet 4 and booked my interview! Come on July 18th!
