Hey there, sorry for the late reply.  Crazy weekend.  
 
1) Yes I did receive it the same day which I couldn't believe.  I did go ahead and send the DS-160 Confirmation and checklist to them expecting the standard reply but then a few hours later I got Packet 3 by email.  Which I submitted right away since I had it all ready to go.    I ended up getting Packet 3 in the mail just this week so it's really nice that they actually email it to you first.
 
2)  I think it's pretty common to get Packet 4 right away after submitting Packet 3 so that wasn't too much of a surprise.  Nope, no extraordinary circumstances.
 
3) Yes when I received Packet 4 that was the first available spot.  I didn't look too much at how far ahead they schedule but I think it was about a month and only on Wednesdays.

Nope not really they give you everything you need ..just follow the check list of what to bring and you'll be fine.  
I brought my vaccination record to speed things up but thats about it. 

You don’t need I-693 if you file for aos within a year of your original medical exam. Make sure they give you a copy of your vaccination records to file for aos.

Fingerprints aren't needed unless you've ever been convicted I think.

Hey!!!!! Our status changed to READY! I checked this afternoon and it was in transit still... I checked again again tonight and it said Ready! Wohooooo 🇺🇸💕🇨🇦 My fiance is coming to Montreal in a few weeks...I hope we will be able to time it so he can accompany me to  the interview 😍

Yeah, supposedly you're supposed to wait for them to send you Packet 3 but I emailed it in anyhow.  Figured it can't hurt even if they send the standard email back saying I'm not required to submit it yet.  I heard it can take forever for them to send Packet 3

As far as I know though, you can't check the interview availability  until they ask you to schedule your own interview.  If you can, somebody please let me know!!!

I haven't scheduled my interview yet but my case is now "In Transit" to the Montreal Consulate.  Hopefully I'll know soon and will reply here!

Yeaaaah that gives me hope. Our petition has also been transferred to the electronic system yesterday after it has been received on the 27th. Hope we get our number today or tomorrow!
