We *finally* got our card delivered on Friday, so that concludes a ~550 days AOS process. Wish I knew why it took so long to complete those finals steps after the interview (112 days, versus a New York CIS VisaJourney average of 18 days), but let's call it backlogged. Leaving our full timeline here for any future filers in the same boat:

I read through your interview experience and it seems like you must've gotten the same IO as my mom. Same date (December 2) and still waiting for some sort of change in anything but she's still stuck on "Interview has been scheduled". She's a wreck! Married and living together with her husband for almost 8 years (been together for 10) and just disheartened that nothing has happened yet. She did call and spoke to Tier 2 some time in January, and they told her she's still within the timeframe and that until and unless the IO officer makes changes on their end they wont' be able to see if there's anything that's updated. 
 
Hopefully something happens soon!!!! She doesn't even mind if it's another interview at this point, she just wants to see some type of update. 

Just so you know: if you'd like to use your K1 medical for your adjustment of status once in the US, you have to file for AOS within 60 days of your medical to ensure it's valid for 2 years. They've recently changed the validity of the medical because of increasing AOS processing timelines. This is mostly relevant if you're going to be filing from one of the major USCIS field offices (New York, Dallas, Houston, SF, Seattle, etc) where processing timelines have moved (well) beyond the original one-year validity of the medical.

Guys, yesterday I saw on my Informed Delivery that I was getting something from USCIS. I was disappointed after I was able to (barely) make out the text on the first line as being ”application for employment authorization and advanced”. They’re just sending me another combo card.
 
However, today my I-485 status was updated to Card/Document Production. And when I track it I can see that the card will be here Tuesday! I feel incredibly relieved. And ready to be done with USCIS for another year and nine months. I’m going to renew my expired ID, get my driver’s license, book travel, and respond to requests from work about my expiring work authorization extension  
 
It took them seven weeks post interview to approve so everyone who’s stuck should not give up hope for a good result despite delays.

got my notice. Interview set for December 6th in NYC. I live in Brooklyn and filed in October 2018.

@asdf000 So our case was approved but didn't get the stamp because the fingerprints have expired, and they need to redo the background check. They expire after 15 months apparently. Oh well, back to waiting for EAD renewal. Hope you have better luck with your case!

Given that we have three field offices in NYC with very different timelines (at least for AOS, ranging from ~12mo in Queens to ~24mo in Manhattan), it would be incredibly helpful if you could set and filter based on your specific office. Filtering on NYC right now provides close to no insights, because all applications are bundled together.

Hey all, had my interview on Thursday. It went well! It was much more thorough than I had anticipated, but the officer was nice and seemingly at least relatively new to the job. She asked my husband a ton of questions, writing down all his answers on a sheet. And then she flipped the sheet and asked me similar questions. I had to correct him on one thing, but nothing big. The biggest point of concern was when she mentioned I might need another medical. I have read the legal text and I know that's not the case so carefully I pointed out all I have to do is apply within a year of the medical, she said she will look into it with her supervisor. If they ask me to do another medical I'm going to be very disappointed because there's no support for that in the INA. In other words, no approval yet, hoping this doesn't take too long to sort out.

My GC interview has finally been scheduled! I'm so happy and a little bit surprised, was expecting this to drag on (I'm in NYC where there are huge delays). Filed 6/4/2018, ready to be scheduled for interview since 7/25/2018.

DAY 276 ...and we finally got approved....Still not sunk in...what a wait...heres to the remainder of the process and finally being able to move on. This thread has been my go to for the past 9 months. Thank you everyone...

I think you don’t have to worry. My fiancé recently started working (2months) so we had little proof of his income. We were only barely making the poverty line (21k) with little proof. He did have a very expensive house on his name, but since this wasn’t readily available to convert into cash it didn’t count. So, if you’re making more than enough money and have enough proof it should be sufficient. However, my example does proof that ‘just complying with the requirements’ might not be enough.
luckily he’s now making poverty income x3 and we have much proof from that now, so we’re still hoping it’s going to be sufficient now.

Hi guys, just to let you know, these will be my last days doing the scans. I would gladly continue running them for a few more weeks, if still necessary, but I'll be leaving my current apartment soon (POE in just 10 days!) and my Internet provider will interrupt the service even sooner (I don't know the exact day).
 
I hope this little effort on my end was of any help to all of you October filers, and I also hope that all of you still waiting for an approval get it really soon. It's been an honor to share this journey with such amazing people and, needless to say, I'll see you around for the next stage of the process!

Hello, fellow October filers! We got our NOA 1 on October 30, 2017. After 224 days, we finally have our NOA 2!🎉
 
I danced like crazy when I got the update, then immediately called my fiancé who just went to bed after getting off a 16hr-shift (he's a nurse).
 
ℹ Some information that we think might help others:
* We get movements on our case 3-4 days after calling the USCIS call center (prolly just coincidental as we only call when we think there should have already been some movements according to average processing time).
* We received an RFE on an item that we were absolutely sure we have answered (because we made a photocopy of the form we have sent) and not on an item we failed to answer.
* In replying to the RFE, we included a note explaining that we failed to answer another item and attached the updated page of the form (others advised us not to do this as it might cause further delay, but we have already sent out our reply when we got the info. We waited for 24 days from response to RFE received update to approval update change).
* We got our NOA 1 update first on the CaseTracker app and old website, then got an email and an update on the new website. Currently, we only have the NOA 2 update on the new website (we just randomly checked it and voila! So just keep checking both old and new websites).

Hi everyone, posting a little late but fantastic news.  We received word that our application has been approved on May 31  We waited 8 long months and now waiting for NVC to give us a case number and send to the embassy.  How long does NVC take to provide a case number? 

Hello everyone! I've never posted here since I recieved my NOA2 last April 18.
 
I got my Case # after 10 days.
Passed my Medical Examination at St. Luke's last May 29 and,
Passed my final interview at US Embassy Manila last week June 8 ❤
 
Now I just need to wait for my k1 visa to arrived within 5-10 working days.
