There is a forum for my local office which was great to follow because everything that happened at our interview seemed to be pretty standard which helped ease our anxiety.

Thanks for sharing about your experience! Gosh, 2-3 weeks seems so long We have a 6 month old and another on the way now, so we're eager to find out whether he has been approved.

Our interview was a little different, we were both present, but seemed to be very similar to what happened and what was asked during our interview. My husband (from Australia) was asked all the questions and I (the US citizen) just sat and listened to him answer them. 
 
Our CO was very difficult to read and didn't give us any information on how the interview went but from what I heard from our local office, that was normal. We found out my husband was approved 2-3 weeks later.

i will have interview for aos next monday 30, i sent my application on april 20.
so my interview will be 3 months after filed, this year they are faster on aos interview.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NOA2!! That must've been so excited to receive!! You're on the home stretch now!!

You do have plenty of time! just so you know, my fiance did this in October (same situation, spent 2 years in Canada, back in Australia just until our k-1 visa is approved) and he had his certificate in about a month. He went through one of the agencies listed on the RCMP website...It cost around $250 in all, I believe. He did have to go to his local police station for finger printing. They required an appointment, which he didn't know ahead of time, so you may want to call your local station to check. The AU federal police check was very quick, I'm sure it is the same one you had to do for your Canadian visa, and that only took about a week and a half. We are July 10th i129f filers, and we got our NOA2 just a few weeks ago. If you have any questions that we may be able to help with, please don't hesitate to message! Congrats! Our attorney got the NOA2 first (the official notice, you will get a copy soon!). Our case status still is not updated on the USCIS website, and we got our NOA2 more than 2 weeks ago. I think we got our copy of the NOA2 4 days after our attorney did.

Just called NVC a couple of minutes ago and they assigned us a case number! NOA2 1/26! Now it's time to play ball!
