  So far (well normally) there is no movement for August.   However a few note to give would be, They are,by looking at the numbers and past trends, mainly working on July.   They touched (even though with small numbers) up till the last date of July,however we still need to see approvals to say the latest date is July 31.  I am personally expecting  to see some small movements in August this week. I'll be scanning every night my time and post when there's movement. You will be able to check the movement next day instead of midday and full day scans.   Please do not use the scans to check your personal case status. Use USCIS web site to check your case status. (Due to TOS and privacy of people who are not even in the forum we are only posting the dates not numbers) (We learnt through these scans that, USCIS does not go with the number but the dates to give an example to this, WAC do not go in an order for dates - not totally- So when most lets say 7/16 is around the number 356xxx, a few 7/16 can be at the number 432xxx -yes they even mix it with other months; however we realized without the number in consideration, that person gets their approval with the number 356xxx cases too. Overall the number is of no importance )   NVC is almost back to normal with a few exceptions of some cases still waiting to get a number; however mostly it is in between 10 days to 3 weeks    Informed Delivery -if applicable in your area- is recommended.  We have tones of approvals that does not get an online update! Hello everyone.
My first post here, I am a filing cabinet of August 25.
It's so good to hear that everything is going a little faster now.
I would just like to share my happiness with you, for I am going to visit my love on February 6, and best of all, I will stay 40 days. And our birthdays are in February and we still have Valentine's Day.
Inspiring for this because it will recharge my energies after a wait of 10 months to be able to kiss it again, and to be able to await the rest of this process.
Soon we will all be together with our loves, living a life full of happiness, is what I desire each and everyone.

  I'm back.. To tell the truth going to see the fiancé and my future home, and coming back made me a little bit sad and more depressed than I was before I went... complicated times this is!   The cats are happily settled.... way too happily to tell the truth!  They did not even check or look at the cats when we were entering through LAX (This changes depending on the state - California doesn't ask for anything from cats) #Americancatfoodrocks    I can't believe so many people from June and even May friends are still waiting for NOA2...actually no, no ... I can't believe so many people are still waiting for NVC.   I won't be able to give a good weekly yet, as they are not updating properly. Which I am guessing they are not comfortable with us telling them  "Dude you are so not doing June 1 cases"   So I updated all the months even under the current circumstances,  to give an idea of how much pending case we have left. ------- Non-updated Noa2s However, my personal thoughts after seeing how the cases flow and update/non-update works. I believe June virgins are actually around 1300s, and some July cases will get their approval in the upcoming week without an update.   NVC Wait Right now average looks like 45+ days, you can also find list we are putting together in my signature if you want to check how that wait is going at the moment. August 24th here...... I need a miracle

Thanks MCL. I wanted to send a quick message to all of those who will be joining this group.
I sincerely hope that each and all of you have a quick and painless process.
We're all in the same situation; in love and want to be with someone that we can't immediately be with.
I feel this pain every day, but I try to remain positive and remember the future will bring great things.
I have deep empathy for each and every one of you and I share the love with all of you that will bring my fiance and I together.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm thinking the same too. 
 
I'm on Day 154 and I was all set to be chasing up USCIS by day 160... Now even day 180 won't warrant any response from them. It's intolerable to think about. Given that on original submission, NOA2 would've been at the end of December I was always (well, until December itself) expecting approval at the end of December/mid-January. Which would mean I could possibly have POE during March. Now I can't even expect NOA2 until early March itself. It's causing  me so much strain and pressure to think about, and how unfair it all is. It's horrible feeling powerless and having very little room to officially complain. All we can do is keep hoping this process speeds up, especially at the USCIS to NVC stage as that part is horrific right now. 

Really, I am so happy to hear that I hope it go fast and August filler enjoy it soon 

I'm trying to be optimistic.  Each day I start out optimistic and then I read this forum and I feel my hopes are crushed.  It's horrible.  There isn't much choice but to keep putting one foot in front of the other, though.  I'm so happy to be going through this because I would rather be going through this and have this particular person in my life than have it easier and have some other person in my life.  We are uniquely suited to one another (IMHO).  Plus, he is just plain my silly best friend!   So, we wait and enjoy the time we have chatting and spending quality time with one another every day even if all we can do is talk.  I'm happy that I am not (unofficially) part of his family and my family can't wait to meet him.  There is so much to be hopeful for!  If we are not going to be allowed to live together in the USA (and there is no reason we won't), I will go to live with him.  All of this is because I love a person, not because of USCIS or NVC.  I just want to be with Waseem!

Hello all, I received the NOA1 on August 17 and still waiting for NOA2 just like everyone else. Cannot say enough how frustrating this is. My fiance is in Egypt and I haven't seen here since we got engaged back in July of 2017. We have set our wedding date for July 22, 2018 thinking it would be plenty of time to get everything processed and approved. Does anyone have any valuable information on how long things currently take at NVC then at the consulate of Egypt? We are contemplating pushing our wedding date back.  

About 13 or so filers from July have gone through....most some were not expedited I believe. Take a look at the WAC applications
