The only way I know to reach a field office is by going to it or writing to it.  If you know the name of your officer you can write a message for the officer, place in envelope, put officer’s name on envelope, and hand it to the security guard.  It might be delivered to the officer

@Mike E What is she mails the letter (with the officer's name & field office address), will it still to the intended officer?

Hello All, need help... CASE DENIED 😞  I remember when I was applying online it was not allowing me to file if Its prior to 90 days. I was able to file on 8th sept on ~10:23 PM but it was 91 days .

any one know what are best options for me now.

So sorry about your case. Your best bet at this point is to reapply right NOW!

Don't appeal anything because it will waste your time and might not work eventually. When I filed mine, I used the USCIS Early Filing Calculator but didn't submit right away. All I did was, filled it out, saved my progress, and submitted 4 days after.

    Goodluck to you.

Received my oath ceremony letter. It is on June 16. Anyone knows if I can bring guests? Letter does not specify that information.

    Congratulations!

Most states are not allowing family members except if the person is bringing an interpreter. When I went for my Oath Ceremony (Texas), they didn't allow any of the applicants to bring in any guests.

    Which state are you?

    Hi

Today i attended to oath ceremony in houston tx, officer checked my paperwork and said we couldnt print your certificate becouse they had administration isssue. Do you guys seen anyone with the same issue? She said they will schedule me again.but i dont know how long does it take

@Sidpro This is actually not new, I've read where candidates' Oath Ceremony were cancelled before the actual date. This one is looking like it's directly from the Houston Field office, which I hope they should be able to fix in no time.  What's the update, have you heard anything from the USCIS Houston office.

Just came out of the interview. Decision couldn't be made is the status!!!.... although I passed tbr test. so, what is next?

First of all - Congratulations on passing your interview!

The possible reason behind you not getting "an approval" decision right away, would be because there is someone above your interviewer who would ultimately review the process before final approval.

    So, what's next?

Your interviewer is going to recommend your application for approval and submit it for quality review (You won't know this)

Once approved, you'll be placed in line for "Oath Ceremony" and later receive your Oath Ceremony date.

All of these events can happen within the next 72 hrs. or more.

Just keep your fingers crossed and expect only the best.

Can anyone please tell me what definitions do people refer to when they say it is good to know definitions? Definitions of what words? In regards to the test

There are three sections of the Civics Naturalization Test.

    a. American Government

    b. American History

    c. Integrated Civics (Geography, Symbols, Holidays)

There are many questions with their definitions that cover all the  three areas.

    E.g.

What is an amendment?  A change or addition to a constitution

What does the constitution do? -

    What is freedom of religion?

    What is rule of law?

You will be asked 10 questions and required to get at least 6 correctly. You just need to understand what they all mean because the questions will be randomly selected. But the good thing is that the definitions are easy and short, so you wont have to memorize too many things.

If you have a android phone, go to the Google Play Store and download this app " Practice Civics Test" it will help you a great deal. Use to learn and also test yourself.

I wish you good luck in your interview.

Hi I have applied for N400 back in October and I got the message that things are getting longer that expected, is it normal? Filed in NC

It's normal, the timeline will keep changing even after you receive an interview notice. Next thing you are going to see is your interview appointment notification.

I'm in TX and filed in October as well, I did my interview on Monday and now awaits Oath ceremony date. In fact, after my interview, the timeline still showed 12 months to decision.

Based on what I've seen with October filers,  you might be close to receiving your interview appointment soon.

I wish you all the best.

Sooo we just got notice my wife’s interview for naturalization has been scheduled. Case received on Oct 11, 2021… notice of interview scheduled on Oct 24, 2021. They moved WAY faster than we expected!

What resources or interview prep question lists do you all recommend for her to prepare? She is hitting the studying hard now.

Are you sure about this date? October 24th, 2021, on a Sunday?

Hi everyone ill be filling next week. I have a question. Im filling under 5 years rule and under eligibility, I don’t know what options should I choose

What is your basis for eligibility?
I am at least 18 years of age and have been a lawful
permanent resident of the United States for at least
    5 years.

I am at least 18 years of age and have been a lawful
permanent resident of the United States for at least
3 years. In addition, I have been married to and
living with a U.S. citizen spouse for the last 3 years,
and my spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the last 3
years at the time I filed my Form N-400.

    Thanks for any help🙏

If you are not filing based on marriage to a US citizen then the first option that says 5 years is your choice.

If you have further questions, you can share it here before you submit your application.

    Goodluck

Congratulations @JesusboyJesusboy my cas looks the same as you my recipient no starts With SRC my case was transferred to NBC Lee summit for standard processing on 28 th October for standard processing iam still waiting for any update

    Thanks.

Based on my findings on this forum and other forums, 9 out of 10 SRCs are getting their cases approved without any interview, after being transferred to NBC

I'd say to be on the look out for the approval any moment from now.  They are moving faster that I had imagined.

    Goodluck!

  13. If your receipt number starts with "SRC, EAC, VSC, LIN", be on the look out because USCIS is really moving fast with those applicants by waiving interviews. It is the same story on ***removed*** forum.

    This is why:

During this session, the speakers explained the circumstances under which Forms N-400 and I-751 may be pending concurrently, clarified USCIS’ current processes when handling and adjudicating these concurrently pending forms, and allowed stakeholders to share their experiences with this process. For example, the speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination. Hey guys!

I just got an email saying my case was just transferred to another jurisdiction! I hope this is good news?

It doesn’t say to which center it was transferred to though, I’m assuming I’ll be getting that info in the letter...?

Also something weird, I still haven’t gotten my biometrics notification at all, so I’m not sure what will happen next haha.

You need to go online and check your case history. I'm pretty sure they've already applied your old fingerprints for your biometrics. Your NOA should come in the mail within the next two weeks or so.

@JSWH @Jesusboy So I just checked my case history and found this: (I had no idea fingerprints were taken)

December 16, 2020 Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction
December 15, 2020 Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another USCIS office.
December 14, 2020 The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken.
October 20, 2020 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

    You should be excited!

This is exactly how it should look like. Since your receipt number prefix is "SRC" you have a higher likelihood to be approved in a not too distant future, without any interview. They normally transfer such cases to speed up the processing. That's why the updates came in quick succession; from fingerprints taken to case transfered.
