NVC Case Number assigned today!  Wahoooooo!!!
 
Oh my goodness and what a day to get it assigned haha.  When they lady told me they had a case number, I said "are you serious?!".  Couldn't believe it at first as my fiancé had already called earlier in the day and they hadn't assigned the number yet.
 
Just called my fiancé and he is ecstatic. 
 
Happy Valentines Day everyone!!

Called NVC today, they have received, approved, and documents are in transit to Bangkok.

I'm not sure how to explain my feelings right now as I was told to expect the NOA2 to come Mid June.
I just opened the mail and opened a letter from home land security with the crisp green paper with I-797 Notice of Action "The above petition has been approved"
WHAT? How can this be? 68 Days?
 
Can someone point us towards what to do now? How do we pay the fees? I understand that I should reach out to NVC two weeks after.

OMG OMG, I RECEIVED TWO LETTERS IN THE MAIL, BOTH ARE MY APPROVAL! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! WE WERE APPROVED ON THE 6TH. Life is good!!!!

I received the approval letter in the mail on February 1st, no update online and no email. It really is true that the scans only show part what's going on. That said, they are a great way to know generally what's going on. Thanks so much for scanning and posting; I read this forum every day.
I'm usually a lurker on forums and not a poster, but since USCIS doesn't update very reliably we have to update each other! I will try to share what information I find along the way. Good luck to everyone and stay strong.

Just got approved!!!!! Noa1 July 25th!!! 195 days!!! 

We just got our NOA2 notification online!

Another 25 July NOA1, approved today!  We got email and text and online notification.
Hoping everyone gets their approvals soon.  This process is so stressful!

I just checked our case status on uscis.gov and it says we got approved on February 2!!!!! I'm so happy and I can't wait to tell my fiancée
 
The thing is, we don't know what our NOA1 notice date was because they never send us the hard copy in the mail (I searched the forum and people said as long as you have the case number, you don't need the hard copy). But online it used to say "Your case was received on July 27, 2017" and I got the e-mail with my case number and such on July 31, 2017.
 
Now I have a couple questions though, hope you guys can help me:
1. My fiancée is currently moving, and yesterday (the same day we got approved) we changed her address with USCIS and USPS. Do you think this could cause any problems, or should we get the NOA2 to the new address just fine?
2. I was planning to visit her in the US from February 22nd til March 10th. But I've read that it is not advisable to try to enter the US when you already have the NOA2 because apparently the chances of not being let in are even higher. Is there any truth to this? With how fast things seem to be going now at the NVC, maybe we should just wait for the K1 visa if (very optimistically) I can get the interview by mid-March

I'm a July 17th filer and I just received my approval letter in the mail today! I got approval online on January 30th (no email or text) but when I look at the approval letter, it states that it was actually approved January 20th!
 
In conclusion, a lot of you guys could have already been approved weeks ago and don't even know it yet!

FYI: Getting ready to start evening/full day scan. Gonna be a rough one for me. I'm remoted in to my desktop because I'm 4 hours away from home and i just realized I don't have Excel on my laptop, so......... Gonna do it all remotely on this small screen while I have Skype running and taking a 1/3 of my real estate. Wish me luck. he he And @Naes When I'm done I'll upload those files to my Drive for you.

We are just packing our beautiful (ohhh sooo beautiful house finally)
 
And I'm just realizing the memories that I'm leaving behind...
Waking up to this day with lots of approvals (even though some I really want to see still waiting) made me so teary today!
 
I can't wait to finally sit on this empty house to start making weekly scans  (I know thats a weird motivation)
 
I also realized...all the people I am following in the app had no notification online...I was following @Shoegum, @Kat&Joel and such (So I stopped following @John & RoseRose so we can actually see the update.....I don't want to jinx anything)
 
But hey It looks like next week and this weekend also we will see some letter from this whole weeks no updated days

Hi everyone, I am new to site but have been following this thread for a while now since we are a July filer as well. 
Our NOA1 July 26th and today 2/2 it says on the website that our case was approved. I hope everyone is getting their approvals also for it has been a stressful process. I am a little more blessed that my fiance is here with me in the US with a tourist visa since December (but under very sad circumstance, he came because my mom was severely ill and had passed  ) He has not left me since. I just want to say that all our patience will bear fruit. just hang in there and know that I am praying for all of you to get this processed finished as well.
