Thanks! I think COVID did play a big part in it, they probably had more time to focus on the ROC submissions.
Thanks! SRC2090206xxx. As far as I know, it didn't get transferred.
Maybe they will have a look at my case soon!
SRC2090215XXX still "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken"
-
Do we know why randomly cases are getting approved, whiles others still waiting? I can not find the thread where they had a google sheet with statistics about SRC cases?
-
Can someone explain me, why do I have two different status updates?
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.doQuoteCase Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken
No history at all. As a comparison, I can see full history about my I-485 and work permit, but nothing more than just CASE RECEIVED for I-785.
QuoteWe received your case
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your case.

Hello March Filers!
I got an update in my case that 'New Card Is Being Produced' which I assume means I751 is approved and new card will be sent.
Just want to share the good news and seems it was really fast to get this approval in just about 2 months. Anyone else got approved recently?
I guess your married spouse is actually a USCIS employee and he/she can proof this is legitimate? (JUST KIDDING)
CONGRATULATIONS! Just for clarification, you are a March 2020 filer and not 2019?

Case status updated:
May 7, 2020
Fingerprint Review Was Completed
As of May 07, 2020, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number SRC2090XXXXXX, at our location.
Received emails and text messages from egov.uscis.gov and my.uscis.gov.
I guess they reused my fingerprints from before. I have not had biometrics. I travelled internationally in Feb 2020. Many cases around me got the same update.
Yes Sir. Mine did the same thing.

They prefer 1 side printed documents! Hope it will be fine!
Have never heard them saying any preference. Otherwise they would put it online at USCIS website. But anyways, my husband’s friend is an immigration lawyer back in Texas and she was saying that to them it more matters how you organize your file and evidences. It doesn’t really matter one-side or two-sided. I know for sure in government facilities they are actually encouraging employees to use two sides. I worked myself as county employee at airport...LOL. So would be a bit hypocritical of them to say anything about applicants sending papers with printed stuff on two sides... but anyways, hope they won’t be sad that I sent them only 30 pages
https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-information/form-filing-tips
It is written on their website, online for everyone to access.
- Send single-sided copies of your supporting documentation.
Again, this is a FACT, I personally follow rules of the USCIS.

Wooh I am so nervous. Submitted mine today. They should receive it tomorrow. My package was surprisingly thin. I think there was around 30 (two-side printed) pages.... hope that is okay

I was reading through form 751's instructions, and it says"Each conditional resident and conditional resident dependent included in the principal petitioner’s Form I-751 is required to submit a biometric services fee" BUT "If you are the U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident spouse, you do not need to include a biometric services fee"
Does this mean that if you're a conditional lawful permanent resident spouse, you don't include a biometrics fee? I looked at some people's cover letters here on Visajourney (including the main one stickied in this subforum), and it seems they included a biometrics fee 😕 So which is it?
I think each person who is working on the removing conditions has to fill a biometric fee. For example, my wife is the US citizen and I am the GreenCard holder. I have to pay the fee, not her.
Is someone else afraid, that the USCIS will close down and don't even accept packages? We will send our package today! But we are afraid the USPS or USCIS will shutdown the next couple days...

Our 90 day window opened today!
We basically have all together, we were just curious if we have something translated, does it need to be notarized? -

I am sitting in the same boat. March filer! We are going to file on March 14 or 16.
And yes the Form is expired. If I remember that correct, there was another Form that was expired and we still had to use it. Why do they put a firm deadline on the Forms and don't update them before they expire? It gives me just a big headache.. -

Soooooo much misinformation in this thread.
No, the new regulations do not say: the medical exam is valid for one year once you file I485.
It said that the I693 was valid for one year as at the time, it was. Now the I693 is valid for two years as of Nov 1st, 2018 provided it is signed by a US CS within 60 days of submission to USCIS.
BUT K1s dont get an I693 form completed at the overseas medical AT ALL. They get a DS302X series of forms completed.
The I693 form and it's rules have NOTHING to do with a K1's AOS process provided they have met all of the conditions of the overseas medical. The only time any K1 would have to comply with anything to do with an I693 would be because they did not fulfill the conditions at their overseas medical exam or USCIS lost their medical exam or their Interviewing Officer just doesn't know the policy and/or is too ignorant to allow the intending AOS'er to show them the policy.
Bad, scary misinformation on this thread 😣
Well you can say it is wrong information. But that is what we were told by the USCIS from tier 2 officers over the phone. Twice - from two separate officers.

Hello all,
I am trying to understand if this was a scam and I should report that or not. Maybe I am just to scared/crazy. It is always my nature, not to share anything to people that I don't know!
I am a German Citizen and I am a legal permanent resident (GreenCard Holder).
The husband of my wife's cousin applied for a US government job/Military and they are doing a security clearance check on him now. They asked him about a none US citizen in his family, which is obviously me. They asked him about my GreenCard information, like USCIS number. He doesn't have this information so they gave him my cell phone number.
I am aware of scam calls and I receive many phone scam calls every day. So today the Special Agent called me and was asking for my information and numbers. I told him I am not willing to give this information to somebody that I don't know over the phone. After a few attempts he was willing to give me an address where I can show up and give them my information there. It was a bank building in Birmingham, Alabama. (Not the government??) And he was like, it needs to be there tomorrow at 9 am, because the deadline for all those papers are tomorrow and then they send it to Washington. Like he was pushing me, that I am willing share my information. I told him I can't be there at 9am, I have a job, I can't just drive an hour to another city and give them my data. He said: well I would delay the whole process and he could be denied of getting the clearance/the job.
So after a few minutes, I was willing to give him my USCIS number.
And now I regret that.... What if it is was scam? I mean he works for the US government, why does he need my information about greencard? He also asked, he need my workpermit number and greencard number? Does he not know, that I have my GreenCard and the work permit is useless after that? And does he not have access to my data, I mean they are doing background checks. So he should have done his homework and have my data?
Or am I am just being to crazy and that is a normal thing...Thank you,
rocknfreak

An updated I-864?Is it necessary?Or did they ask you for an updated one?
We just updated our I-864. Because we had a new tax year! We both filed taxes.
And no, they didn't ask for that!

Did they take any documents from you? How did you prepare anyway?
We gave them our updated I-864 with the 3 latest tax forms and of course bona fide. Our credit card bill with both of our names, water bill, etc. He did not even look at it He just placed all together in this folder.

Congratulations! We have the same timeline.Did you have to submit a copy of your medical report?
I didn't have a copy of my medical report - no I did not give them my copy.
The doctor who did my medical exam in Germany never gave me a copy of the medical report.

Where did we meet?
When did we meet?
Do we consummate?
Do we have children? How did you meet?
It was a really short interview, we came prepared and he liked that! We showed him also a book of us with tons of pictures. He just looked at the first few pages and that was it! -
Greencard interview was today! 06/11/2018 and we got approved on spot for the greencard!
-
I wouldn't go the medical exam again!

Hey neighbor!!!
Have you checked your case status with the new site? https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/
I did for mine and is has way more info than the old one. Just had to create a new account and then added all my case #''s.
Thank you, I did!
And it is more confusing now..They were trying to schedule an appointment since December last year? And it says they canceled my interview...
