Pomodoro reacted to Jaquelly in July 2017 I-129F Filers
I am on my first cup of coffee for this week.
As an early July filer, I hope that we all get approved. I'll be honest, when I see people who are griping about being late July filers and not getting their NOA2s, I want to shake you guys a bit.
Like, it could be so much worse. Our ETA was mid-January. Andy will be here in 11 days to visit and I don't think I will see that NOA2 before he gets here.
I know it sucks, but please, remember it could be worse, and hold your head up.
And when that fails... Another cup of coffee.

Mine was filed out 6 months ago when I submitted my petition along with my DS-160. All of this is part of Rapid Visa's service you pay for.
I have no idea why and I asked the same questions, but Rapid Visa said this is how it is done.

Mine was done by Rapid visa. I know how this form gets filled out.

I-864 is for adjustment of status after you guys marry.

Guys, my fiancé and I have been the ultimate lurkers here since July 13th and signed up just now to share that we received our NOA2 in the mail today! I had a feeling we wouldn't get updated online and we never did, our NOA2 is dated January 20th (last saturday!). Many of you will probably get notified the same way Best of luck, we're all almost there!!
Also, we appreciate this forum and all the valuable information sharing on here so so much!

That's exactly the conversation we had yesterday. It got me nowhere. The guy knew that I knew more than he did, even at Tier 2, and was just very kind and told me to keep waiting.
WAIT FOR WHAT
I'M OUT OF WINE

Man, am I the only July 3rd left? This is really disheartening. You can't help but be happy for all the others going through the same things as you, but when you see lots of mid July while you're sitting at July 3rd it's tough.
And I imagine that goes even worse for the late June still waiting. This process is a total joke.

I'm going to attach a few links for you to use. These can be found under the "Guides" tab at the tippy top of the page.
1. A flow chart of each step needed for the K-1 Visa from beginning to end. http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow
2. Here is a step by step guide http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide
This is taken from the guide in case you aren't able to open it. It lists the requirements for the actual K-1 Visa itself, which is what you're preparing for
1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 2. Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well). 3. Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F). 4. I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all. 5. You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:
(A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance
(B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)
(C) If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern
(D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).
Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form. 6. A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. (backup information; the embassy will have copies of this as well) 7. Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, online chat logs (pick several over the prior few months), etc.. from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 until date-now).
Examples: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate emails and letters you have sent including the stamps on envelopes (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)
I hope this is what you're looking for! It may be a bit much but I think it can help others who are lurking and needing assistance

Hey Juliers.
I wanted to let everyone know that the mid-day scan didn't show anything new for the day. It doesn't mean that they are not working, it's probably that they haven't updated anything online.
-
Pomodoro reacted to Naes in July 2017 I-129F Filers
Dear Julies
I am not sure if they are going to update continuously, but this is something I make for every month, to follow it virtually.
So at least at the moment to see how far they touch I'll be putting this here and will update in the future when we have online updates.
You guys get pink and purple...
Let's get all this in an awesome burgundy! (Yes I had no other colors left...)

Here is the Mid-Day scan. So far looking great!
Also to make it even better, as I was going through today's scan I noticed that there was a bunch of updated approvals and movement yesterday which did not show up in the full day scan. I will work on that and post the results from yesterday after a quick break.

Dang! I was waiting Monday so much! But, one day even doesn't counting))))
We are on a day 185)
A little annoyed but still positive)))
😊
Soon everything will be done and I'm sure we will sitting one day in a couch and remembering how funny it was)))
How we handle this time difference and distance, how every day Messenger was screaming and noticed about messages, how cool it was share everything with each other) Send video where whole family yell "Merry Christmas") For me this memories will be very valuable))
And soon we will call to our parents, sisters and brothers and tell how it's cool to be together with our loved ones) How it awesome make breakfast for each other or even listen how both are snoring at the night)))
Soon guys!!! Very soon we will be so happy! Maybe someone of us will go here to VJ forum and look at some guy who will be so impatient and will be crying because he is on a day 20 of waiting)) Maybe than all of us can realized that this process is nothing compared with happily life to the end of our life with our soulmates)))
The main thing it's our love)❤️ Could be something stronger than this? For this apart we can knew so many facts about each other. This apart like a test. And who can pass it will get HUGE gift from Universe-great, strong and happy family!!!
Wishing this to all of you guys!!!
All of us deserve it)

Pomodoro reacted to janet3 in Which Order?: Getting Married, Getting Social Security Number, Filing AOS
I added my fiance to my bank account and health insurance a few days after he arrived. I did both without a SSN. However, it would have been sooo much easier to do both with a SSN (the bank called me every other day wanting a SSN). If I had to do it over....I would have taken him to get the SSN first (the card arrived in less than 10 days). We were married a few days later and are currently filing AOS.
