Otto got a reaction from meauxna in Help-Fiance had to returm Home
There may be the possibility of her visa being reaffirmed/revalidated by the Embassy/Consulate. It is at their discretion of course but is possible (documentation of the emergency would be pretty important I would think).
** Topic may be better suited in "US Embassy/Consulate Discussion" (rather than K-1); moving thread there.

Otto reacted to Rebecca Jo in I-134: where does it say you need 3 years of tax info?
You have stated previously that consulates are forbidden by law. Can you cite that please?
It makes perfect sense NOT to use the I864, but clarification would be brilliant.

Otto reacted to mox in The new reputation system
When the new look went into place, one of the things that you would have noticed in your profile was a reputation bar. When one of your posts was member-modded negatively, your repuation went down. When one of your posts was member-modded positively, it went up. That feature, as Ewok posted in this thread, has been removed.

Otto got a reaction from Rebecca Jo in What is an accuracy rating?
Shouldn't this be in the 'Rhetorical Question Forum?"

Otto got a reaction from Welshcookie in Married to US Soldier in Germany, where do I start?
You guys will very likely want to file what is called DCF (Direct Consular Filing) directly with the US Consulate in Frankfurt.
A brief overview can be found HERE. This lets you guys file while you're both in Germany.

Otto got a reaction from SuperDuper! in Las Vegas Hotels ?????
HUGE difference in prices(night and day, sometimes triple for the 'good' hotels).
For your budget, you've got lots of choices I'm sure.
I like:
The Venetian
Paris
MGM Grand (the rooms are nice)
Luxor (especially if you can get a view and in the pyramid don't be fooled, most of their rooms are not in the pyramid).
The Rio is nice - not on the strip but rooms are great (all suites I believe).

We can't rate mods either, which is a crying shame!

Otto reacted to SuperDuper! in The New VJ (3/2010)....What do you think?
So get back to work, and quit goofing off on company time, and no worries. You know that the boss can track your every move on the internet anyways, so look out.

Otto got a reaction from nuumo in Already married - can I use VWP to come and adjust status?
The short answer is 'Not really' - you can try but you may be attempting to circumvent US Immigration Law(s) by doing so.
As mentioned in your previous post

Otto got a reaction from Sam and Ben in Question on Fiance Letter of Intent
The example letter of intent is written to show you the two 'versions' you will need. The first is for when you submit one (from each of you) to USCIS along with the petition. The second when you both send another for the interview stage.
Both examples are shown on one single page. For the USCIS stage - delete the references to Embassy - for the Embassy stage, delete the stuff for USCIS. Make sense?
