I had my interview Monday 28th November and I got my stamp easily within 15 minutes of being inside the USCIS building. I am so happy. I will be visiting my family for a week on 21st December for christmas. Can anybody list everything I should bring for border control incase I need it, I really do not want to miss taking something. Thank you. Happy holidays!

If this is literally what you've said and it ends up working, you should write up a guide for getting the stamp 🥲
Jokes aside, I wish you good luck and to get it soon!

Update: I spoke to someone at USCIS on Friday evening and stated that at this point I am really stressed and I travel in December, I'm asking for a stamp not gold etc etc. They have now put me on the urgent 72 hour call list. I just hope this means I get a call and not instead another email saying they are booked up again. Fingers crossed now. That's all I can do right..

Does anyone happen to know what waiting time estimates are looking like on getting an appointment set up for a I-551 stamp?
-
Do I just ask them to put me on a list for all offices?
-
So it's been 30 days since I should have got a phone call from USCIS to schedule an appointment and instead I got an email stating they are fully booked and I will basically have to wait for them to call me when appointments open.. is this normal? also just like every question.. how long. My nearest is the Detroit office. I have travel planned for December and I am really starting to freak out. I guess I just have to wait but this is where I am at.

Adjustment of status? I-751 is for removal of conditions, not adjustment of status. Your timeline and title says AOS.
I apologize I meant removal of conditions..

Hey guys!
So today my case updated from "We are ready to schedule your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, for an interview." to this "Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken" can anybody explain how this makes sense? my biometrics was back in April 2021 and I've waited over a year to get my appointment scheduled and still have not got my interview but yet it updates to the finger prints update. I am confused. I hope someone can make sense of this because I am lost.
Thank you in advance!

Yeah sadly it's normal.
When I got my passport stamped with another extension recently (another 12 months), I asked the USCIS desk clerk about it. They said I should track the processing times at:
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
Set to "All Field Offices".
This currently shows 80% of cases being completed in 32 months, but that's obviously retrospective and probably hasn't caught up with the nature of the growing backlog yet.
Thank you. This puts me at ease!

Still waiting for my interview - filed back in may 2020 received extension notices and then my case was updated that I am ready to be scheduled for interview on October 7th 2021.. it has been a whole year since and still no appointment date.. any ideas or thoughts? is this normal? any one else in this same boat?

Call USCIS. Say “info pass”. A human will answer. Request 2 things:
1. an info pass appointment to get an I-551 stamp on your passport
2. a tier 2 officer to call you regarding the status of your case.
Thank you for the info, how do you get ahold of a tier 2 officer?
-
Hey guys,
I apologize if this has already been answered somewhere on this website but I couldn't manage to find it.
Petition - 1-751 petition to remove conditions.
Immigration received date on my notice of action is - 5.28.2020
I got a notice on 9.29.2021 that said my case was being transferred to Lee's Summit, MO.
I also had my biometrics.
And my current status shows "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" as of October 7th 2021.
On 07.01.2020 I was sent a notice saying that my conditional resident status was extended for 18 months from the expiration on my green card.
On 12.14.2021 I received another notice saying that my conditional permanant resident status is extended for 24 months from the expiration on my green card.
My green card expired on 08.10.2020 and those notices expired on 08.10.2022.
It is now October and I do not have any more notices for more extensions. I am extremely worried.
When I look up the processing times on the USCIS website I do not even see Lee's Summit under the Field Office or Service Center section.
I am still waiting for my interview. I am planning to fly internationally to the UK in December for a week to visit my family.
I tried calling the USCIS Number and I can not get any answers or even get through to anyone who can help me.
So I came here looking for any answers. I hope someone can help.
Thank you.
Jessica.

Hello everyone,
In November 2017 me and my husband got married, we then sent off all of the documentation.
Yesterday we finally heard something but unfortunately it was our first ever "Request For Evidence" one of the things were.
- Submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year. The petitioner/sponsor must submit all supporting tax documents for the most recent tax year.
(Although my husband being the petitioner did send off the tax documents to them so a little confused) but we will send them off again and triple check.
So my question is do you think I should also send my tax documents off from my previous work in 2017 just as extra of not necessary?
Feeling stressed about it so i've taken to here hopefully in the search for help!
How is the journey for you all going? Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm assuming you would have to restart the whole process as you withdraw from it, but it's best to call up and double check as I could be wrong.

Hey everyone!
Hope your all well!
I have my Embassy interview this Friday and i'm really nervous.
I've prepared my folder but can someone tell me if I've got everything or if i'm missing something? that would be great.
- Passport
- Police Certificate
- Birth Certificates (with parents names on)
- DS - 160 Confirmation
- Affidavit of Support (1-134)
- Photos of screenshots for more evidence.
- Photo (1 USA passport sized)

- Evidence I have paid for the interview.
Am I missing anything else? Anyone who has been to the Embassy in London.. how was it?

Thanks for the update @JessnTrev. So glad it went well for you. One step closer wohoo .
I'm honestly more worried about the travelling to get to London. But im sure it will be fine. I have a few hours to kill both before and after my medical because of my train ticket times. I didn't really want to be 'hanging around' on my own given recent events but im sure i'll find something to do nearby for a while.
I'll keep you updated! Thanks for the good luck
Not a problem. Aw thank you
Yeah I can agree, the tubes make me the most nervous. I'm constantly on the look out and I always feel like i'm trapped on them.. lol.
Your quite lucky then because your like a minute walk away from forever 21.. and like loads of big chain clothes stores! eek! I couldn't resist haha.
Let me know how it goes tomorrow!

Hello Everyone!
Happy Tuesday.. another day closer! hehe.
So today I had my medical appointment at Knightsbridge Doctors and thought i'd let you all know how it went for those wondering!
Turned up a little early (appointment was for 10.10am but got there at 9.50am) make sure you press the buzzer on the side of the building "knightsbridge doctors" which lets you in.
Once your in head to the booth where you'll say your name and hand over all of your documents (ladies in reception are really nice and definitely put you at ease so don't get nervous) They will give you a urine sample pot which you'll fill and place into a red bag that they give you, hand it back to reception after, they give you like two tick sheets (really simple questions) once I did this I was told to wait in the waiting room until my name was called, I sat down for about 5/10 minutes and a women came in and called my name. I was taken to a room where I removed my top and was told to put a gown on and stand by a x ray machine (Just a reminder: They do tell you to put your hair up for the x ray). After this I was taken to the waiting room again where I was told to wait for another doctor.
After 5/10 minutes again another doctor came and she was SO lovely! She is from new zealand and I hope you all get her! put me at ease completely, ended up talking about lots of things about how she moved to the uk etc and even looked at my ring too haha.. I felt so much at ease to the point I didn't even realise she'd finished the blood test and completed all checks..
The checks she carried out in the room with me were as follows:
- Checked my temperature
- Checked my eyes, ears and mouth
- Listened to my breathing
- Took a weight and height recording
- I had to close one eye and read a couple letters off the far wall.
And that was literally it.. no vaccines were required as i'd had them all previously. The doctor told me that I was all healthy.
So PLEASE do not worry because it really isn't that bad! I was in and out in about 45 minutes!
Worst part is honestly saying goodbye to £300 haha.
Good Luck to you all and please feel free to message me if you have any questions!
@S*UK Thank you for your message yesterday! Good luck with yours in a couple days! Hope this gives you a good insight to what it will be like, please do not be nervous haha.
@DrivinAForeign Hope this helps! please tell her not to worry.

Hi
Apparently you need to ask for a patient care summary.
Your GP will know what you mean.. however mine is taking ages to get back to me with this lol
We did read the email section of that to the doctors so i'm pretty sure It's the correct form I have, but to double check it lists 3 of my last consultations, vaccines I've had, any allergies, any problems in the past.. i'm sure it's the same thing. Also tells me my weight, height etc, just nervous it wasn't correct

Anyone who has been to knightsbridge doctors for medical in London, it asks on the email once booked to bring along summery of medical history but not full medical records.. so i'm confused on what to bring regarding this.. I have got from the doctors lists of vaccines i've had so that's not a problem and i've also asked for a medical history which they printed off for me, I just don't know if i'm taking the correct thing, does anyone know?

Best of luck.
Will you update with how the medical goes? My girl is in the UK and ours is coming up soon, she's really nervous about what they are going to check on and It'd be cool to see a first hand experience.
Thanks
Yeah that's not a problem
Can anyone answer my question? Can't miss brothers wedding.

Hello!
Hope you are all well. In sight of some information and hoping someone can help. My green card expired - My green card expired on 08.10.2020. I needed to travel December 2022 so I got my I-551 stamp November 28th 2022 and was valid until November 27th 2023. Fast forward to 2.22.2023 - I get a notice in the mail saying they have extended the validity period on my form I-551, Permanent resistant card (also known as green card) for 48 months.
So the date of extension would be until August 10 2024. The issue Is I need to travel back home to England in the end of June to attend my brothers wedding. I would return home July 13th.
So my question is.. Do I need to get the I-551 stamp again? because of it being so close to August?
I hope this makes sense.. Sorry if I confused anyone, honestly just trying to make sense of all of this myself and coming on here feels like some sort of normality.
Thank you!
Jessica.
