Thanks for your responses. My NOA1 was sept 19th, vermont service center. Should I go ahead and give my co-sponsor the thumbs up to get his stuff ready then? The employer letter is a slight concern to me because it seems like it would be a pain in the butt as hes an extremely busy person. I have no doubt that he will get it when I ask him, weve always been pretty close and he has a big heart, it just makes me a tad guilty to ask for for.
can it be substituted with pay stubs or should you have all forms of proof of income?
You will need all forms of proof!! I went ahead and gathered all the stuff from my end for my Fiance after getting my NOA2 on Sept 22nd was approved on Sept 18.. I sent everything last week by UPS. Since I should be done with the NVS come Oct18 since that will be four weeks I might send a more recent I134 form again with pay stubs, and another letter employement with a more current date of end Oct rather than the one I sent that has end of Sept on it plus I want to send call records showing Oct 2006 on it.
I've been told that the I394 is valid for 3-6 months so you should be fine if you send everything now.

So I'm excited for nothing? Wow, I hope this is over soon.
Congrats to everyone who got approved today!! Lets hope that CSC keeps up the good week and sends the approved cases to the NVS so are cases get shipped via DHL to the USA Embassy's in different countries.

Good afternoon,
Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The visa petition you mentioned in your inquiry has recently been forwarded to the US Embassy. Please allow 10-15 business days for the Embassy to receive the petition.
Congrats!!

Just sent an email to try again for some updates!
I sent an email this morning as well to see what information I get.
-
hello To all you guys. can you give the exact link of NVC so I can send email to know about our status. Thanks......
When you email NVC, you should write down the case number on the subject line. And you should mention the names and dates of birth of the petitioner and the beneficiary.
who will be the one to send email, the petitioner or beneficiary? is it ok any of the two?
I think either of the two of u can send the email? I'm the petitioner and I'm going to be sending the email to the NVS tomorrow.

I think you guys are jumping the gun...
I was approved on 9/7 and NVC does not have my case yet. It looks like it is going to take 1 month plus for this $hit.
But a&0, who was approved on 9/18 by CSC is already thru NVC. gupt, you know that.....
thanks for that information I plan to email the NVS come this Monday since I was approved on the same day 9/18/06.

The message I have been getting from a live person as of today was either we haven't received it or we haven't had enough time to input your approval into our system. (got this from two different live people).
The people who check the emails for the NVS must have a lot more access to information regarding everyone's cases.
-
Approved 9/11 and mine is not received either. I think this is the CSC giving us the last screw.
wolf
I was just going to write that it seems the live operator's computers are not very up to date with information being how when most people email the NVS they have much better results.

My noa 2 was aproved on the 18th of this month but I just called them, and they have not received Yet? how long is taking them to received now??
I was also approved on Sept 18, 2006 and have gotten the same response as you when calling the NVS. The letter said 2-4 week and is now close to two weeks. I'm planning on emailing them in the middle of the week this coming week.
-
It took 3 weeks.
But I am not sure of the exact date when NVC forwarded the petition. They just mentioned "recently", maybe it was sent last week... who knows. I just wished I would have emailed them earlier!!
Email them and find out, enamorados!
yes I will, but I guess my question is this: they send the petition to your fiance country and they have not send you a hard copy?
My approval notice is also dated from the September 18th, and I also got the same response when calling the NVC as you when speaking to a live person. I'm planning on emailing the NVS this coming Wed and see what I get back as a response.
Hopefully the rest of us who got approved around Sept 18th that are approvals were sent from the CSC earlier this week when the CSC sent a huge amount approvals to the NVS.

Vent away. I am betting you will be in the next batch..didn't someone say they often get them on Mondays?
I think it is Monday's when the NVC gets stuff from the CSC, and I cannot recall, but there is another day towards the end of the week when the NVC also gets stuff from the CSC. This is all provided that the CSC doesn't sit on all the approved cases and actually keeps mailing them out at a good rate.
-
that is what happened the last time........nothing and then they were coming in left and right.
I have noticed everything comes in waves here.....also with NVC and embassy interviews..does CSC actualy have a heartbeat ? Is it alive?........may the next wave pick up the ones who have
been left behind too long and bring them to shore finally.
Good news for all those who are waiting to get approval notices from the CSC. Lets also hope that the CSC is planning on sending another big batch of those people who have already been approved to the NVC.

Mine was most likely also transfered to the CSC center. I guess some of the intformation the lady gave out to me over the phone at 11:35 am est time was not totally correct!!
Mine was most likely also transfered to the CSC center. I guess some of the intformation the lady gave out to me over the phone at 11:35 am est time was not totally correct!!Forgot to write that Yes, I have also have a WAC number while awaiting an NVC number.

we have sent 2 emails to ask for our case status. today we got reply stated our case has not yet received by NVC yet. hmmm........
I have had better luck with operators than email. I think it depends on who is busier. I don't think it hurts to do both!
Just spoke to the NVC and got a nice lady on the phone who was in a good mood. I asked her how many approved cases do you receive in a day? She told me from 10 cases on a single day to as much as 40,000 if it is coming in Bulk. She also said that most likely we have your case at the NVc, but it just takes us a while to get into the system..
On a nice note If one used the TSC, VSC, or NVC centers your case will be send directly from those centers and not come from the CSC center.
Hopefully this lady at the NVC didn't just give out BS over the phone!!

I received the same emal today!
With the wrong case number?
I would call the NVC and talk to a live person, and give them ur WAC number again see what they say. I would think that the NVC person made a typo when looking up ur case thus the wrong information.
-
I finally got an NVC Case # - my I130 was approved on Sept 7th and NVC entered my case on Sept 22 and assigned a case #
Congrats!!
Nice to see some one who filed with the Texas service center get their NVC number so quick. I got approved on Sept 16th from the TSC so hopefully like you I will get my NVC case number just as quick.
-
O man I hope it's true, I'm giving NVC 2 weeks before I call.
Same here I'm also giving the NVC 2 weeks before I speak to a live person, but till then I will use the automated tracking via the NVC phone system.

We got approved on Sept 16th 2006 and are also waiting on the NVC it has only been one week for me so far.

Nice to hear you got a case number last night.. I am waiting for a case number to be assigned and like you waiting for my package to get sent to the US embassy in New Delhi!!
I still have 2.5 weeks of waiting as to the NVS 2-4 process time, and it seems the NVS is taking about 3.5 weeks!!
