  1. My K-129F petition is not at the US Embassy, Hopefully it is on it's way to the NVC. Is the NVC going to extend it if it expires while in their hands?

The date on the NOA2 for how valid it is, if you should come down to that date it will automatically get extended at the US Embassy so you do not have to worry about it.

  2. Hi. On my NOA2 it says it expires in 90 days. If you were told to wait 90 days until you could contact the NVC, your petition will have expired. What will you do after it expires?

  3. I called NVC last night and was told that my petition had been forwarded to the Embassy in Lagos last week. I forgot to get case # so I called back to the automated voice response thinking I would get it and there was no record of my case number. I have sent two email's one on 10/10 and the other one on 10/12 and have yet to get a response. I am expecting either the email or a letter by snail mail. I will just keep hope alive that what I was told last night was really true!!!!!!! By the way my NOA2 date was on 9/15/06. :D

Congrats.. So my theory seems to be correct that the CSC has surely sent alot of approved cases to the NVC this Tuesday. I am glad to see another person with a date before 9-18-06 getting good news and an NVC number.. (I'm surely feeling much better today).

This now means that there are only three people left for 9-15-06 awaiting a NVC number, and for 9-14-06 there only two people left who are awaiting NVC numbers. :)

  4. Congrats. Good luck at the embassy also.

Congrats.. Looks like the NVC got a big batch on 10/10/06 and it is just taking time for them to get all those receipt numbers in to the computers that will generate the NVC numbers.

I'm feeling better now after seeing that someone with a NOA2 date of 9-14-06 got a NVC case number!! From last night it seemed the CSC forgot about all of us 9-11-06 to 9-18-06 people.

May god keeping hearing our prayers :)

  5. Hi there

I was just wondering how long it takes to send your approved I-129F from the CSC on to the NVC? On the K1 flow chart it says that it should be about 2 weeks from when you recieve your NOA2, but we've still not heard anything and its been 3 and a half weeks. My fiancee called the NVC yesterday and they said to wait 90 days from when we recieved the NOA2 and if we've still not heard anything then chase it up then! Bit of a differnce between 2 weeks and 90 days so was just wondering how long we should expect to wait before it arrives there? I'm sure everything is fine but I'm trying to pencil in a rough wedding date and it's not easy when you haven't a clue when your visa will be issued!

Any help will, as ever, be gratefully recieved.

    James

Takes from 2-5 weeks. For the most part it is the longer of the two when waiting (4-5 week mark).

  6. AKS,

I can understand your frustrations, but at the same time, I am going to agree with SirLancelot ... I don't think that it would do much good. It seems the operators will try their best to answer, but no one ever gets a straight solid answer from the NVC. You are exactly one week behind my approval date, and I got my NVC number last Friday. Perhaps you will get your new case # tommorrow God Willing. Good luck and all the best for Godspeed.

thanks hopefully I'll get a NVC case number soon!!

  7. I was approved on sept. 19 and NVC received my case on Oct. 10

SWEET!!! I hope that means that a bunch of petitions from September made it there this week!!! Congrats to you btw!! :D

I was going to write that it seems the CSC sent a bulk package to the NVC that reached on Tuesday. So most likely the CSC mail.ed the bulk package out on Thursday of last week. (Let see who all get NVC numbers).

  8. I even asked: I am sure you want to be helpful because you say you do. Please tell me how you can be helpful? She was dumbfounded when she realized she couldn't. What is the point? Why does it take 30-60 days just to mail something?

LOL!!! Psychology!!!! "No, no....you really do want to help me! Trust me, you do!" I am totally going to try this approach!!! :D

.. and we all wonder how come the CSC cannot operate like the VSC in the shipping department!!

Last week when I called the USCIS the guy on the phone while nice told me that the NVC does get approved cases. So I said good bye and came to the quick conclusion that the USCIS has no clue about approved cases.

I wish the CSC had a direct number for service.

  9. I think it would be best for all of us who are waiting on NVC case numbers from Sept that when you people call the NVC to check the status of your approved case to please ask the NVC operator when a big batch is coming from the CSC.

The reason we should do this is because the only way we can get this information is by getting the right operator and we have a much bigger change of getting this information if we all ban together and do it as a group effort rather than everyone simply calling the NVC and hanging up when they tell us they don't have our case yet.

    thanks

  10. I got the call back from csc and was told my petition was forwarded to nvc on 10/2 , thats almost 1 month after it was approved.

I hate the fact that there is noone you can complain to and there is no real Customer service line.

We do have to pay for this process and i am a tax payer so why is it that i have no right's as a tax payer when it comes to this process.

When you call the uscis line you get no more information than you can get from the web site.

The dumbfuk I sopke with not only told me K1s are directly routed to the embassy, but she was not able to tell or find out when a petition was actually sent to the NVC.

I have no idea how you are getting this info. Perhaps you can enlighten us??????

Same here when I called the USCIS a week ago the guy I spoke to while he was really nice he said we do not have that information or access to it..

  11. I just got off the phone with an agent at the USCIS (G8535 Shannon) and she told me that ALL I-129F petitions that are NOT filed in conjunction with an I-130 are mailed directly to the embassy or consulate. She said as of late last year, they DO NOT go to the NVC.

When I asked about the wording on the NOA2, she said it simply has not been changed yet to reflect this. I asked if she was 100% sure and she said YES….

hmmmm... I'm trying to tell myself to believe by what you said are true. :(

For the most part everyone's approved case goes to the NVC!! Unless your NOA2 says that your approved case will be sent directly to the embassy.

It seems like it is better for your case to go to the NVC then to the embassy directly because the CSC is not smart enough to give u a tracking number or some type case number to track it. Also there seems to be a very high rate that your case could get loss at which point your in big trouble because the CSC is useless and won't be of any help, and even if you used a lawyer there does seem to be much they can do because the CSC is such a pain to deal with.

  12. The CSC needs to hire the shipping director from the Vermont Service Center that will fix the shipping issues. :)

The CSC needs to hire the shipping director from the Vermont Service Center that will fix the shipping issues. :)

Don't get stressed out by hearing the 90 days bull.. It takes from 2-6 weeks for the most part. However only a few lucky people from CSC fall into the 2 week cat.

  13. This just shows how f-ed up CSC is!!!!!!! They can't even forward the damnn things without screwing up.

Whenever mine is approved if ever, this is what I have to look forward too??

More delays becoz of their incompetance!!!!! When's it gonna end?

I totally agree with all u guys said.

Just mailing the packages is so difficult for them..............

:help: They dont know how to glue the stamps or what.......

That is true the only thing all of us can do is wait and pray that our approved case from the CSC get to the NVC soon. I really wish the USCIS website online case status including the shipping status of ur case from the CSC to the NVC..

(just think how stress free our lives would be if we could have used the Vermont Service Center)

  14. Here is the new timeline for today.

    http://garyandluz.com/timeline/NVC_10-5.html

    Enjoy!

    hi gary

wish u to add me in your list and thanks so much.

i got approved september 21 and still didn't hear nothing from nvc .really it's bad thing to wait.my fiancee had trying to call nvc but all the time when she called she found phone busy.

    thanks .

Hi Gary, please update our info. We called the NVC Oct. 6 and got our case number MNL2006 779xxx. However, we have no interview date yet. Will keep you posted of updates.

Thanks and welcome to the Philippines!

    Maria

Gary will no longer be updating the CSC to NVC timeline. I can't recall who is taking over the task, but I did find it posted in the K-1 section some where yesterday afternoon.

  15. No one who uses the CSC can understand what the Hell the CSC is doing with the approved cases. It is the most annoying thing on earth. A real example.. A person got approved on Oct 2nd from the Vermont service center on Oct 5th the NVC has his approved cases.. This how the CSC should be shipping out approved cases to the NVC, but the CSC decided that they would be different and make our lives very stressful.

We know the CSC ships in bulk so they say, but the CSC is surely sending small amounts of approved cases at random to the NVC. Since the CSC does bulk shipping for the most part it is high time the CSC sent another bulk shipment to the NVC. I don't mind the CSC doing bulk shipping if the CSC would ship out a huge shipment every two weeks to the NVC. If the CSC would ship out bulk shipments every two weeks the CSC wouldn't have this problem!!

That is my two cents, but touch wood for this website otherwise a lot of us would be going crazy!!

  16. Congratulations....not to much longer now

Here is what is left of people awaiting NVC numbers for Sept.

    9-01-06 = 3

    9-11-06 = 9

    9-12-06 = 2

    9-13-06 = 2

    9-14-06 = 3

    9-15-06 = 4

    9-19-06 = 15

    9-20-10 = 10

    9-21-06 = 7

    9-22-06 = 1

    9-23-06 = 1
