My husband and I attended his combo I-751/N400 interview this afternoon in Salt Lake City. The officer was an incredibly kind woman and the first thing she did was comment about how our daughter.

She then asked us questions for the I-751 green card approval:

    • Both: How did we meet?
    • To me: What year were we married?
    • To my husband: How did we deal with the 2 1/2 years we lived apart going through immigration?
    • Both of us: What are some conflicts we’ve had in our marriage?
    • Me: What was it like meeting my husband’s parents for the first time?

She then administered the citizenship test to my husband:

    •  When is the last day to file federal taxes? She joked about during a normal year.
    • What is Martin Luther King, Jr. known for?
    • What is one right of a US citizen?
    • When was the Constitution written?
    • What happened on September 11, 2001?
    • Why does the US flag have 13 stripes?

Sentence he had to read: What state has the most people?

Write: California has the most people.

She asked the questions in section 12. Asked for our daughter’s birth certificate. And said she was approving both. She said he will probably have his oath ceremony the last week of July.

We are so excited and relieved to be almost done with this nearly 6-year journey.

    Congratulations

I know a woman who just completed her N-400 interview in Utah. She was told that because she was changing her name it would take longer to receive an oath ceremony than those who aren't. According to her a different judge is needed for those changing their names and they needed to wait to have more people also wanting to change their names to attend. This could be the same reason for the delay in your ceremony date.

    Good morning

    Texas Filer here Nov 2019

    N-400,

I was wanting to change my name as well but since it was going to take much longer, I just called them two weeks ago and now they schedule me for next week Tuesday 6/30/2020 for Oath Taking. Good luck to all

Just got my oath ceremony rescheduled. Got a call yesterday to let me know that the ceremony was rescheduled for next Tuesday.

    They asked few questions:

       - Have you left the stated last 14 days

       - Have you had any symptoms

       - Have you been in contact with anyone who has/had Covid and if yes how long ago?

    ...

The new noticed was on my document tab but I didn't receive a notification. They also emailed it to me today and are going to mailed it, but said that it may not make it on time so I need to print the one from my email. Masks are a must, will be mostly sitting in the car and no guests are allowed, but hey at least it's happening!

Good luck everyone and I hope all of us that have family back at our home countries can travel and visit soon!

    Congrats
