I am sorry i didnt read your question correctly LOL... So after i got my NOA2 I started calling NVC (+1-603-334-0700 option - 1 and - 5 ), and today they gave me the NVC # (RJD2018XXXXXX ) I did my consultation at this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=NIV and the case was changed to received to in transit. So then I submtied the DS-160 from and tried to pay the fees https://ais.usvisa-info.com/pt-br/iv, but the website says my case is still not ready to schedule the appointment. So I believe i will be able to pay the fees and schedule my interview and exam after my case is showing as ready on CEAC website.

but now I am wondering how in the world they send the approvals to NVC......

in just as exciting news - Informed Delivery says I'm getting both W2s in the mail today that I need to submit tax return !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   I'm EXCITED lol

I did my taxes weeks ago using my 12/31 paystub. Getting refund ASAP, i'm not letting the government keep my money in the form of an interest-free loan!

NVC is going faster and it is great news for everyone, even those waiting on NOA 2 at least know the next step will be faster 

so in optimistic theory............ since you recvd NOA2 8 days before me.... and received NVC # today/yesterday?...... I could receive mine 8 days after you.......... which is next Friday............   is it safe to assume USCIS is picking up some speed?  you recvd in 24 days !  day 23 for me is next Friday.............................................  

I think we got our NOA2 same week as yours. Ours was Jan 8 notice date but we haven't called NVC cause Tony hates calling in to gov't agencies. I will try to convince him to call on the latter part of next week. Based on some updates from the K-1 group in fb, they got a NVC case number in less than 25 days from NOA2 notice. I guess things are picking up a little after NOA2 - at least for those who got approved after the holidays, that is. I hope they can sustain the progress.

22 days for me, surprisingly...

I PROPHESIED THAT NVC WOULD CUT TIME DOWN FROM 48 DAYS AVERAGE TO 30 DAYS AVERAGE AFTER  I RECVD NOA2 ... LOLOLOLOL.    you just MADE MY DAY  ( jan 2 NOA2 here)  GIRRRRLLLLL

you mean you got your NVC case number in 29 days? and were you calling every day. I'm at day 15... so I am wondering when I should "start calling" ( I already have twice bahahaha) but I told myself I'm gonna wait until next Friday ( day 23)

Well they are still waiting. June still has a bit more to go, if that's what you're trying to understand.
 
Cases do not go in order, so we still also have people here in vj received. doesn't matter the date.
We even have people in May still received.

from the look of it all the cases that got approved from January 2nd got to NVC either yesterday or today.
 

wow, I just called and they said it got assigned a number just today! NVC aint playin yall...
 
just waiting for it to be sent to Lagos; she said they try to send ASAP via DHL  but its all good 

Hi All, 
i checked my nvc case status today and it's states it's ready for interview. So all others waiting may have some luck today. As for the rest of the June bugs that are waiting for NOA2 I'm following along with you and praying you get it soon. @John & Rose and @Trinab80 keeping an eye on you guys hoping for good news. Stay positive even when it's hard we will all be with our love ones soon.
