My husband had a female dr at Servicios Medicos de la frontera. I don't know if there are multiple drs or just her.
What was the over all expirience? Would he recommended that clinic to others?

I tried my best to look around, but can anyone tell me if there was a new Information page created after September 2016? It seems alot of people don't get the email from the Consulate with this information, so I am trying to be proactive.

I was hoping people would respond regarding their overall experience at these centers, so we know which one seems better then the other.

This is something that is so all over the place, and there is no real protocol for police reports in Mexico, and it is the only county that all three divisions (municipal, state and federal) do not communicate arrestes with one another. The only way to get a Federal Police report is to travel to Mexico City. From what I understand, if you supply a municipal and state reports, and your check list does not mention a federal report, then it it is not needed. To make every applicant go to get this one report is ridiculous.

Once your case says "Ready" then you can log onto the ais.usvisa-info site and schedule your biometrics and interview appointment. Keep in mind that it may say "your case is not yet ready to be scheduled" or something like that. DO NOT WAIT to receive an e-mail telling you that you can schedule it - you may never receive that e-mail! You need to be proactive. Then you may (or may not) receive a P4 invitation letter - if you don't receive it, you can just print the letter at the consulate before. This letter has no useful information, though, so no need to worry about getting it ahead of time. Then pretty much just sit tight and get all your papers ready for your appointments. There is a lot of helpful info here too: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/K1/CDJ - Ciudad Juarez.pdf
Then you can look at the previous post to figure out how everyone did things in Juarez step-by-step
Thank you for your helps.
We are now at "Ready" as of July 5th So you are saying we can proceed, despite not receiving anything so from form the Consulate in Juarez?
This would be: first filing out the DS160... then paying... then scheduling the appointments??? Is the only thing we need to proceed is the CDJ number given to me when I called the NVC?
This is all GREATLY appreciated.
So once all of the above is done, we may.... or may not receive the "Invitation letter" from the Consulate?
That email that may never come, is that the 12 page long pdf in English and Spanish that gives links, what to/not to take to the Consulate...and such? What about police reports? How do we know if they need a Federal report? People have to travel to Mexico City for that one, and not every beneficiary needs it. We are already getting the Municipal and State, but going the Mexico City is an added expense we are not prepared for.
Really.... THANK YOU if you can answer all of this. We will be golden to move forward and finish up

Well apparently you can call both the immigrant line (603-334-0700 ) and the non immigrant line (603-334-0888) to find out if your case has been received.
I received my case number by calling the non immigrant number. I've never called the immigrant line.
Again.. contradictory information person to person. This process is so f'd up, even the people that are supposed to tell how to do are clueless.

Wow thats crazy fast!
From my experience NVC recieved my packet 2 weeks after my NOA2 and assigned a case number about a week after they recieved it.
When I called yesterday, they said they received my case Monday and they had the number to give me. Who know what is true and what isn't :/

Just tried again at the 603-334-0888 number and they did not receive it yet. Thanks for the heads up though
I only ever called the 603-334-0700 and that is where I got my answer. That is the Immigrant line and that is what this is considered at this point.

I am writing this for me and also another K1 Petitioner for Mexico. Both cases are at NVC and we have the receipt numbers. Can someone that has done K1 for Mexico gives a breakdown of how the Juarez Consulate does things from this point out, and also what steps we need to take? Since every Country does things differently, I really want those that dealt with Mexico to respond.
Your guidance will be so helpful to us as I have not seen a post that details things like this.

Does it really take 2 weeks for NVC to assign a. Case number after its been received?
Took almost 3 weeks for me. So 2 weeks is normal and lucky time frame

I just called the NVC for the first time and spoke to a very pleasant agent. My approval notice date was 06/09 and she told me that they have not received my case yet. I know there are a few of us in this topic with the same approval date so I wanted to let those of you know that it's likely they haven't received our cases yet. I think I've read in a few places that they tend to get shipped in batches so I thought I'd post an update here. I might try to call again on Thursday of this week but, as I'll be on a road trip helping a friend move from IL to CA, I'll have to see if I can. It's also a little tempting to swing by the USCIS "pyramid" once I get to CA and yell from the road for those who still haven't been approved here.
I am also approval on June 9th. I called today (Tuesday) and they said they received it yesterday and gave me the number. So try again

I even sent them an email and asked if our case is touched but not heard anything from them
Don't hold your breath. I sent emails months ago. Still waiting for responses for some, and got a response that had nothing to do with my question to another. Ridiculous!!!!

Still no NVC status for us 20 days after NOA2. Hopefully this means they're processing the cases even if they're not making it into the system...
Did us February filers send their workers and systems into another dimension??? Nothing for us has been as formal and streamlined as any month prior to ours.

The NVC phone number is 603-334-0700
My case was approved on June 9th and as of yesterday morning, it was not yet at the NVC from the California Service Center. I was told it could take up to 6 weeks. It better not. This is supposed to be the easiest/quickest part of the process.

Is there a list of Countries that are now going electronic from NVC to the Consulates?

Shall everyone call the NVC, I mean after you got your NOA2 or it is okay if you just do nothing and see when they send papers to the Embassy ?
Since I don't get hard copies (Mexican mail is the worlds worst), I want the number from NVC so I can track the package and do things as needed.

Im just wondering which one is our noa1.. is it the date when they recieve our packet/on our case status online or it is the date on our noa1 hard copy??
I have not received any hard copies in the mail of the NOA1 or the NOA2. I am basing it off of the received date they had on the online website for the NOA1 and the approval date for NOA2.

Has anyone having NOA2 around June 9 called NVC for a case number yet?
I am the same date, and called today... file not received yet

Called NVC.. nothing received yet. Damn! Its been 12 days, but told it can take up to 6 weeks to get from California.
-
No! I just tried and it says the password is incorrect. I used the one you put above.
-
Can someone pass me the correct number to NVC to check status? I have two of them, and I want to make sure I do it right since it is a paid call for me
-
I sent you an email back. I tried logging in with the new temp password, and on first try it said I was locked out. grrrr.....

By the way,
Is there anyone here who's going through the route of having to provide proof of domicile? I'm in a bit of a sticky situation since I'm working in Singapore and I'm trying to gather as much evidence I can get my hands on, but I don't believe it's "concrete" enough. I'm also actively seeking employment now back home so hopefully I can land an offer before we hit the interview date.
Hello! I will need to do this as I have been living and working in Cancun, Mx for the last 7.5 years. I have maintained my drivers license the whole time with the address of where we are going to be living. I also have my US bank account and 2 credit cards at the same address. I have started looking into quotes for the car I will have when I am back (my dad is selling me his, so I have a VIN number) and I have already started my job inquiries as well. I will also have my dad write a letter that Tony and I will be living at his address indefinitely once we arrive to the US.
I hope this helps. I will be creating a formal letter outlining how I have maintained an address and the proof to go along with it. If you have voted in any US elections, you can use your voter registration as a tie to the US.
