great! I was in Hartford too this morning. My appointment was at 10 am. The officer was very friendly; we spent most of the time talking about other stuff than immigration. Didn't ask for photos. We were asked about how and where we met. The other questions were in the i485 form, went through it all and updated some parameters and that was it. My fingerprints were checked and I did not have any issue with my biometrics ( they were done in November as well). We were told that our file is in order and we will be recommended for approval. I hope it's nothing major and that you will be set soon
Congrats congrats!!!

My biometrics were 11/6/17. Does this mean I have to redo it? So how come they did not give you a notice to do Bio before interview?
I honestly believe every io operates differently..... I never received any notice to redo biometric. My 1st one was on November 24th 2017

Please tell us what they ask.
Interview went great... 4 questions. Where we met? How many kids? His kids date of birth and my daughter's date of birth. Didn't even take anything from our folder. Nothing! Also said because the fingerprints were done back in November that they needed to do an updated background check so we should hear from them soon, if not within 2 months then theres a number we could call.

i was wondering about this. we already submitted a whole affidavit of support set with the AOS and i was going to just bring a copy of that. do you mean to bring a fresh set then? complete with all new supporting docs (ie tax transcripts, paystubs, employment letter)?
You really don't need to bring a new I-864, just the updated tax transcript, job letter n the last 2 months pay stubs.

RD Date: 10/4/17 for I-485 and I-765.
Biometrics completed on 11/6/17.
RFIE/RFE on 4/30/18 on I-485 for Birth Certificate.
I wonder if my clock will start over for both applications? No RFIE/RFE on I-765
It doesn't start over, it starts back once they receive it. It was on hold until they receive the RFIE/RFE

Now that I re-read the chart, the 'April 2017' is when you can start filing in inquiry as it is outside normal processing times, guess they don't show current processing dates. But we are roughly 9mo from filing, so it should be in the next 1-4 months by their chart. I've been at 'we are scheduling your interview' since Jan 8th, so I'll keep fingers crossed for both of us.
Fingers and toes crossed 😊😊

As a fellow CT res, Im just being patient and keeping busy.
Atleast the processing times for dropped from 18-24months last I checked down to 10-15mo now lol. Looks like they're currently at April 2017, so we probably have another 6 months to wait.
Oh wow! When I called last week they said I should be getting the notice in the next couple of days...., I'm hoping that's true

We're still waiting on my husband's interview too...we were October 30th filers with the Montgomery, AL field office. I'd really like to have it all done before this baby gets here, but they sure are dragging their feet!! New USCIS tracker still says we are waiting on our interview to be scheduled.
What date is the tracker saying they're ready to schedule you? Mines says it's been ready since May 16th

Good question! I'm on that status since November 2017...
Wow!! And still no interview?
-
How long after the update "case ready to be scheduled for interview" is the interview?
-
PD- 10/24/17
RFIE- 11/22/17
RFIE Recieved- 12/20/17
My Congress office and I submitted 2 SR, last one was 5/21/18
EAD Recieved 5/31/18
I-485 status changed to "Ready to schedule interview " on 5/16/18.
Also I've never been able to track status on the tracker until about a week ago.

You can find your congressman here: https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative
You should call their office and explain your situation. They may tell you to send a release form by mail, email , or ask you to visit their office. In my case, all my communication with them were by email.
Thank you
