I got mine under c31 same : Alien Granted Deferred Action.
We will communicate separately once a decision is made on your pending adjustment status application.
The person wanted to know why I got 2 EAD C31 and C14 and I was just telling them that USCIS sent both without me applying. The EAD C14 already has DERRED ACTION attached to it. So basically I don’t have to walk with the I-767C paper.

@Trizzle I saw on your timeline that you received a c14 after the c31. Did you apply for the c14 separately? Could you please explain why? (the benefit of having one)
I tried Googling, but found very little information. I understand it is tied to our deferred action, but don’t understand if there is an extra benefit to apply for it. I have a c31 EAD card, and the deferred action NOA (it’s a piece of paper).
I didn’t apply for it. I just got notified that new card was being produced and then the lawyers received it. They sent me a pic of it. Based on what I read I don’t think there is any extra benefit for it...I may be wrong but I know the category itself C14 states that the ALIEN IS GRANTED DEFFERED ACTION. If someone else knows I would like to know as well.

Hi Trizzle..just about going to bed..I think according to what I've read here from Sandra's response to a similar question YES 👍
Thanks. I figured just as much. The office is 6 hours away from where I live. I don’t mind. Just have to find a way whenever it’s time for interview.

I’m just throwing out this question if anyone knows. If your represented by a lawyer by way of G-28, is it that your local office gonna be where that lawyer practices???

While this gives an insight into the timeframe that awaits you,I hope you can see now from the different approval timelines that it depends majorly on the nature of your case and the pace of the officer working on your case. There's someone who mentioned 14months..I'm sure there are even earlier response dates..at the end just be calm and wait your turn.
I think it’s based on the situation he’s in. I would be super worried as hell.

Mine 17 months and 4 days
Actually mine took roughly 20 months because I got RFE the 17th month on August which I took 3 months to respond in November then got approved after 42 days on Dec. 19, 2018.

For those of us here with an approval how long did it take for you to receive it
Mine showed Card in Production Dec. 19, 2018, case approval online status Jan. 1, 2019 and I received the actual approval notice with deferred action on Jan. 11, 2019. The notice showed it was approved on Dec. 19, 2018. Hope this helps.

About 17 months from November 2018. So your looking on around April 2020. Mine took 17 months basically. It’s a long wait but it will be worth it.

Hello everyone, I hope you are having great weekend'
I was wondering if anybody can help me with the link to the police clearance certificate form, i read online they will ask for the form if i call to schedule appointment.
Thank you.
If it’s Virginia your gonna go online and fill out a form. It will generate an official document for you to take to the State Police HQ. You will have to have an I’d like passport or such when you go. You will get fingerprinted and sign the form. Then you will send the form to their head office. Couple days or maybe a week your gonna receive that same form in the mail except it will be written up at the bottom and stamped.

Thanks. I didn’t receive courtesy letter as yet becuz I had gotten initial evidence request for copy of my original birth certificate and the lawyers are taking forever to send 1 simple document as that. They are so basic they didn’t send it initially.

It’s for the I-765. I didn’t send in any renewal because I had just gotten the EAD but under the I-360. Lol

Your welcome but that’s good that you travel with it. As I stated earlier USCIS felt good or something so they sent my lawyers the EAD C14 so I’m gonna walk with both because EAD C14 doesn’t have fingerprints on it and it has a later expiration date.
