For others now and in the future who have this same question, I hope this helps. 
I spent $39 + $39 talking to the same attorney twice via Avvo who said to send the filled I865 and do not include cover letter.  The reasoning was the cover letter does not help, its late anyways, generally unless there is something sinister they will not come after you. Just know that you are doing the right thing by filing the I865, file it and move on.  This was the attorneys reasoning. 
 
I have my USC spouse filled the form and signed and I will send it out via USPS 2day priority tomorrow without a cover letter. 

My status changed to "New card being produced" ...phew!
I filed my N400 by paper on May 24. I received a notice few days later with details to create an online account which I did.  I see Biometrics has been set for the June 21st on the online portal.

Guys, imagine lawyers answered like most of you did? They would lose everyone too. 
 
Be neutral, just because something didnt add up yet, dont start throwing around accusations of sham marriage, marriage didnt mean much to you etc
 
ask questions and see how they answer, could be a really true but confusing situation, could be language barrier, so many love to jump the gun here quick and these people run away where it would have been beneficial for everyone including those who will frequent this forum in the future to know how a “confusing” “not normal” case ends up and why?   
 
Yesterday, I was reading a thread of a highly respected memeber with so many upvotes who gave so many of his opinions and accusations about a person’s situation including life changing and FALSE info. 
 
He told a memeber that once your I751 is denied, you are out of status, this is not true at all and he could have ruined the person’s life up to suicide with giving him such wrong info  
 
Always include thats its your opinion when answering a question and mainly answer or brainstorm with the group, stop accusing people out of your personal frustration, there is a whole gov agency that takes care of that, its not your job to guess whats a sham without someone’s file infront of you and the credentials to adjust   

I did too, but I did paper filing, they should receive it Friday.

There is no pattern in the way they process which is unfortunate,  May 7th filer here and still waiting ...

It doesn't look like a RFE. I got an RFE letter and it showed RE + VSC address.  Yours doesn't say that and It's not coming from VSC. Probably something to do with your N-400 if you filed for that? Like @Grateful Soul said.

Please lawyer up, better safe than sorry, please dont be defenseless when he is already working to build a case against you. 

The status messages on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ is different when compared to the other site (https://egov.uscis.gov/).

That seems like a specific answer and does not sound like a canned answer. I say that because of named service center and the dates. Maybe just maybe its not a glitch.

Unfortunately the word customer was recently removed from their website. Looks like according to them they are doing us a favor.

I dont understand why people end up deleting other peoples records in the excel sheet. I have restored the sheet atleast 3 times over the last week. 
Please exercise caution in handling this excel sheet. Many people rely on the information in that excel sheet. Thank you! 
 
 

I walked-in to the nearest ASC center and completed my biometrics today. The whole process took about 30 minutes and no questions asked about the early walk-in. 
 
I showed my GC and the biometrics letter and they gave me a form to fill about my height, weight, name, etc and an acknowledgement to sign. Once I completed that, they gave me a token number along with the stamped and dated biometrics letter. When the number was called, I walked to the booth, handed the paperwork and all my fingers were fingerprinted and my photo taken.  The stamped and dated biometric letter was returned to me.
 
I also went to the DMV to renew my license, the license was extended for another one year from the date of GC expiration. I have the temp license now and the new license will come in mail. 
The DMV required the I-797 NOA and the GC to renew the license. Once the 10 year GC comes, I will have to pay the DMV another visit and repeat the process.

I think we need this. Given the fact that its going to be a year long process. 
Every time a CSC update happens, I spend ridiculous amounts of times wondering and stressing and my focus at work goes down. It's not fair to VSC filers, there is no other way to put it. 
 
We cant change VSC processing times, however as VSC filers we are all in this together.

Creating a separate link to VSC filers seems more productive than clustering VSC and CSC together. CSC seems to be fast in processing/updates and its only adding stress to VSC filers (atleast in my case).
