So here is the thing. Regardless of whether they ask for a copy of the AOS or not if I were I would fill out a new one sign it and send it to your spouse to take it to the interview. That can never hurt.

The AOS is pretty much based on facts and numbers. I don't see too many chances of messing up.

See I am not sure if you would have to reschedule the interview or not. But there is an email box support-india@ustraveldocs.com that you can send an email to with your case number in the subject and ask if your medical was received or not and also ask if what the process would be if it is not received in time for the interview. They respond in less than 24 hours and the responses are extremely helpful.

The link below explains everything. Read up if you have any more questions regarding the ink signature.

I had been worried all night too. But I confirmed with the consular, NVC and my husband went to the local PSK and they said as of a month ago they don't stamp the passport.
Haha I'm sure something else will come up for me to worry about in the meanwhile @chamma

FYI I also confirmed with the consulate, PCC stamp is not required on the passport.

You'll need your P4 letter, bring your passport and a copy, and passport size pictures. That is what was asked at our medical center. When you schedule your medical appointment make sure to ask if anything else is needed.

If I were you I would take the AOS I had already sent to the NVC and a new one with your latest income and job information on it.

Hey so after checking with several people on this blog today who were in the same situation as me and same consulate It seems like they didn't receive a letter either. They manually scheduled the interview got an email confirmation and had no issues. @Chahal even has their visa issued already. I hope it works out for us too. Thanks @chamma

And I guess there is no harm in getting the medical done just three weeks prior but it would give you a peace of mind to have it done already and make sure everything is okay.

Did you get a checklist that states that you need a new corrected AOS? If not whatever you already sent her will suffice. Even if you were asked to do a new AOS you can still email or fax a copy, an original AOS is not required. As far as the wet signature goes I clarified with NVC and they don't require a wet signature anymore. Refer to the link below.

Good luck with everything!

In order to get a clarification on the whole wet signature ordeal I called NVC this morning and spoke to a very nice rep named Heather. She told me that wet signatures on Affidavits of support are no longer required and scanned or faxed copy will suffice.
She directed me to this link which clarifies everything :https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/news/ink-signature-no-longer-required-on-affidavits-of-support.html
