Us too!  I was so afraid we missed something.  We had challenges completing the applications on the computer so I ended up writing them out and I was so worried they might not be able to read what I wrote.  Oh well!  We sent it off yesterday.  Here we go again!

i already have an ssn in my maiden name but i used the new  ead form to request for a new card (with the same number of course) but in my married name. i dont know though when the new card would get to me because i am still waiting for my ead. but this is a new thing (this ssn section on the ead form) so now i am worried if that will slow down my ead for some reason. in hindsight i am thinking it might have been better if i just popped in to the ss office myself.

I sent my package in the middle of October and I used the new form. I marked this option but I did not receive my work card yet. Then I don't know how long will take for me to get my SSN card after my I-765 is approved. 

Hi! Im about to send my AOS package and I was wondering if any of you used the new option to get the ssn together with the AOS application.. and if you did, when did you get your ss card?
Im trying to decide if it is better just to do it myself..

You guys are very welcome! You should have no issue filling the paperwork by yourselves and if you need help I’m sure you can find it here!

I applied for a SSN last Tuesday and had it in the mail today (one week later). It is free to apply for it and the VJ info on it is very good: http://www.visajourney.com/content/ssn.

It's Been 8 weeks now since NOA2.. 
rang NVC again , still there under AP, can't give time frame to be sent to embassy !
finally broke down in tears asking the operator to please give me a supervisor.
she just said there is no time frame I'm sorry I can't help you .
this is just a horrible experience, so upsetting and frustrating.
 

Good morning . I have news. We GOT Approved  May 30 filer, 163days.even to today anything, no email, no hard copy,no notices...Yesterday we called to USCIS, asked Tier2. we got call back in 4 hours.he told we got approve last Thursday .

What the heck now?

I am seeing approvals hitting already today I am totally surrounded now on each side of mine. May 15th, WAC1790329851, WAC1790329830, WAC1790329828 probably more but this is as far as I have been tracking. 20 each way of my case number

We finally got approved today, thank God!!  I signed up for the email and text and received nothing.  I only knew by calling to ask questions and the automated service informed me.  I tried not to check everyday because it was so frustrating for us. Thank God for this forum, Shoegum, and you guys for support!  Love you!
