Soooo, just to let you (and others who might be in same situation), I just got letter from USCIS, starting that they will use my „old” biometrics for ead  So I don’t have to go again  yaaaay, I cant believe that! It is awesome!

Got married today! ♡ Off to our honeymoon then plan to file AoS after this weekend. 

Fingerprints on 3/26 and status changed 4/12

We're gonna do the civil ceremony (marriage) probably the first weekend in June just so we can get the requirement done  mostly likely in a scenic area of a park with my pastor officiating it and start his AOS immediately after. Our "wedding day celebration" is on Sept. 2nd (the date before Labor Day). I already bought my dress and most of the wedding stuff was put on hold from last year but luckily my venue was extremely flexible and understanding and allowed us to float my deposit. After all of this, I want and DESERVE a wedding day - it just will be an affordable wedding day!

and yes, first reaction was: is it an rfe???? But then I saw two emails and i was like: oh thats weird lol

At first I almost got a heart attack as I was thinking it is RFE (which I am expecting anyway but still freaking out). Unfortunetely the lady said when I was doing my biometrics for I-485 that I will have to come again ;( although on the phone they told me it all depends on immigration worker who work on my case, most likely I will get it...

Good!! Well maybe you will not. My I-131 is still "received" sooo.. i dont know. But it's nice to see the status being updated at least lol

I got the same  but only for I-485. I guess they will send me another biometrics appointment letter, which sucks a little bit.

So.. I woke up this morning with two emails from the DHS website saying "we have taken action on your case" for my I-485 and EAD. I refreshed the app cause its easier and now it says "fingerprint review was completed"
 
I guess that doesn't mean a LOT.. more waiting!

I live on a road, basically.. so there's literally no neighborhood lol I'm watching tons of netflix shows and that has helped me!
 
i don't plan on going back to school but I plan on start working as soon as I get my EAD, so I spend nost of my days job searching and even sending resume. It helps too!

Here some ideas,
like reading? Library maybe netflix series? house project? Is there anything that needs arrangement? to be replaced?  Do you know your neighborhood well?  Document your VJ so it can help others...blog maybe? Do you plan to go back to school? if so, do you know your options in the area? Do you plan to bring family members for visitation? If so, why not start looking at their documentation and proofs?  
Be positive, you paper work will be processed very soon, im sure.

Im so bored. I dont have a car, there is no public transportation here. No where to go and I'm not able to leave the house. Husband works all day. It's so hard, I'm going crazy! I need to work

officer even talked to me in portuguese, said he is learning it from all the brazilians thatgo there lol
 
I changged my name, so I brought my marriage certificate with me, he didnt even asked it, said he has done it so many times theres no need!
anyway, was a very good experience and I hope that the same happens on our interview!

Sadly, we are nevee done with USCIS. Lol I am already going crazy on the app again with my AOS application, never deleted it lol
 
 

I never had a engagement ring or an "official proposal" and I had no problem with that on my interview. We got married and we dont even have wedding bands lol we just dont care for that kind of stuff, so there's no point in having t just to prove our marriage to other people!

Dear all - it has been a few months since I last posted here but wanted to give everyone an update. My fiance attended her intervene in Yerevan on march 22nd. Sadly, but predictably, she was not given a visa due to the Trump Travel Ban. the Officer told her that she was otherwise qualified and that he would have given her a visa on the spot if not for the proclamation. They handed her a piece of paper stating that she is refused but will be considered for a waiver, eventually.
