They should send everyone a revised letter so that authorities have a better understanding. Also other wording that should be added into the letter is the letter stating conditional resident status is extended until a decision is made on the case. That's more accurate then saying a year which is inaccurate. Why say a year when it isn't so and is until a decision is made in actuality?

I don't think the I551 is free like you said. Remember we have actually coughed out $670 before we're entitled to the seemingly free stamp...

Everyone here is waiting for this stressful journey to be done with. The USCIS is not making this easy for us and I bet its always trepidatious when airlines, employers, SOS folks all give us hassle regarding our expired cards. This forum is one place where, we are all facing the same struggles albeit different journey can come together, learn, share and grow.So it would be always nice to turn to each other for support , kind words and encouragement and if you dont have something uplifting or informative to say, it would be awesome if nothing was said at all. But again that is just a reminder and a kind request from me, I do respect the right of speech.🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼

Of course if you are correct, we will say you were correct. As for new applicants that may be different, although I have not seen any press release regarding it like we did with AOS and I would expect that there would be announcement on the USCIS website regarding it. Right now though we are trying to remain positive for the people who have been waiting over a year and wishing them a quick approval. (well a quicker one as its been too long already). We don't like to argue on here, debate, not argue, nor do we like name call, its not the place to do so and personal insults shouldn't come into it. Lets all agree to disagree and respect each others point of views even if they don't correspond with ours?!?!

Your ROC will first be determined before the citizenship. It's a 2 in 1 interview.

I just learned about a different USCIS account (https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ ) that gives you the history and current status of your application. Check with both receipt numbers.
