Yeah, I got my RFE earlier than those with receipt numbers close to me but didn't think I would take longer to get my NOA2. I can tell by how quiet this group has suddenly been that everyone has moved on with their petitions and could possibly already be with their loved ones. I'm really happy for them, but it's still tough being left out! Haha

I think you're confused. The sponsor, i.e the person filing the petition, ALWAYS fills out an affidavit of support, regardless of their income. However, if the sponsor don't meet the financial requirements, then you need a joint sponsor that does. 
 
So since you're doing the k-1, your fiancé fills out an I-134 but because he doesn't meet the financial requirement, you then need a joint sponsor in the US who meets the financial requirements for his/her household size fill out another I-134.

No he didn't tell me lol I hope it's NOA2 as well 🙏 I will keep you posted. I probably won't get it in the mail until next week. He told me if I did not receive it my Thursday to call back 

I just got off the phone with tier 2, they told me they sent something in the mail yesterday. Praying it's NOA2! So you should be hearing soon 

If whoever answered me doesn't accept my request to speak to tier 2, I call back again and i always get someone different. Usually other operators are nicer and will accept your request to speak to tier 2, just ask nicely! There was a time I said I already was in line to speak to tier 2 the day before but never got a call back when they said they would, and the operator put me through to tier 2! Give it a try again

We filed in february and in the instructions it said we didn't need to fill it out anymore, but for some reason we got an RFE telling us to submit at G325A!
 
 

It FINALLY went through after trying 5x. A bored sounding lady answered and gave us the standard "you have to wait 60 days" spiel. I asked to speak to Tier 2, but she wouldn't put us through and just repeated the same line about waiting 60 days. GAAAAAAAHHHHHH

It's really so hard for me to be overly excited about things when I know there are people being messed around in the system. How dare they have the review date as January 15th for months, change it to February 15th, and then go back to January FIRST!!!! That is unprofessional, pathetic, and dishonest.

Are you converting the WAC to numbers... = 922 then the rest of the digits. I think that is what I did when I called

You must include the WAC (922) and then the rest of your numbers.  It confused me the first time too.

I attempted to call using Skype too and it went through. I'll try calling later at 12am PH time for an update for ours.

No, my fiance never got a packet either.  We just followed the direction on the net from NVC.  She did it all.  Personally, we don't know anyone recently who applied for K1 from the phils who got a packet in the mail.  They all just made appointments and such through the net.     

I called NVC after i received my NOA2,  you are still waiting  for yours, our turn around  only took a week to be approved  once they received my reply. I know its tough waiting but like everyone else says once that part is done it goes pretty fast. Hang in there and im rooting for you

I just checked NVC and our case changed to "Ready"
 
here is the timing:
NOA1 - 17 February
NOA2 - 24 May
Received hard copy of NOA2 in mail - 30 May
Petition received and case # assigned by NVC - 8 June
Case status changed from "At NVC" to "In Transit" - 16 June
Case status changed from "In Transit" to "Ready" - 18 June

I'm hoping to get it in a week. This time we showed proof that my fiance resides in the same city as me here in the Philippines and included social media posts of us together and family/friends posting photos with us as well + passport stamps of our travels together.
 
We didn't discover VJ until after we sent in the petition, so we didnt really know to be that detailed with the proof. Lesson learned. haha

Hey - I had an RFE last month. It took exactly a week between USCIS receiving my response and approval. It could be longer than this, perhaps closer to two weeks, but every case differs. If the RFE was sufficiently supplied it's usually approved quickly.

I-134, collect your tax transcripts for past three years, W2s, Employment verification letter, perhaps updated chat logs since you submitted I-129. Begin familiarizing yourself with the DS160, and what documents will be needed for medical. Learn about the process to pay for the visas.

Don't give up hope. With International Overnight Shipping, your RFE doesn't have to be a big drag. Keep the faith and just respond quickly.
